On the themes currently running through Mumsnet at the moment, I have a total hatred of 2 songs, not just dislike/turn off the radion but actual cringe when I hear them played at parties and will walk off the dance floor....I dislike them so much!

My most HATED is Robin S - Show me Love - it gives me the chills!

Closely followed by 'You Got The Love'
Candi Staton/Florence/whomever else thinks it's a good idea to cover this drivel!

Groove is in the heart by Dee lite gives me the total rage and turn off when Coldplay are on, cannot stand them

Build me up buttercup. Gives me the rage.

Ed sheerans shape of you makes me feel physically repulsed.

Sam smith one. In fact any by him. Miserable AF and he doesn't even form his words properly.

The one by adele where she wails about when they were young or something.

I love Suzanne Vega but Tom’s Diner makes me feel really ill. It must be the tone and speed that makes me distressed. And yes I know I’m not really distressed but it makes me feel really anxious

Africa by Toto. Something about the way they shoehorn 'Seeeeeeerengeti' in with no regard to rhyme or scansion. Have to turn the radio off sharpish when that comes on.

I don't know who sings it but it's always on adverts "the first time ever I saw your face" one. It's an awful song and the word "ever" is in the wrong bloody place in the sentence!

I'm not sure of the artist but the song that starts "loving you is easy 'cause you're beautiful" makes my jaw clench. I'm not sure if it's the lyrics or the screeching but I can't stand it!

Hate Lady in Red with a passion, but love Sheeran, don't understand the hate, his earlier music is much better than Divide though
