We restructured at work a year ago and my new boss of 13 of us in an absolute B. She piles more and more work on us and expects us to keep up her demands. WTF!

Thanks for sharing.

Rainboho · 21/01/2018 14:23

Have you let her know that you’re finding it difficult to keep up?

DonnyAndVladSittingInATree · 21/01/2018 14:25

Are you sure she’s a B? I find some people who appear to be B’s are really C’s or F’s. Some A’s are mistaken for B’s too.

Tarraleah · 21/01/2018 14:27

Could be worst, she could be a Z.

DonnyAndVladSittingInATree · 21/01/2018 14:29

I’ve had a couple of W bosses and I had one ABB too.

SundaySalon · 21/01/2018 14:30

Not a lot to go on, maybe if you re write the post with some actual info...

Surreal18 · 21/01/2018 14:32

I know right. She's a self centred cow, how the hell do you keep up with that?

OP posts:
Mxyzptlk · 21/01/2018 14:33

Tricky!

DonnyAndVladSittingInATree · 21/01/2018 14:34

Ah! An SCC? Yep. Met a few of those too.

(This reminds me of those FB posts where someone posts a sad face and then everyone asks what’s wrong and the OP says “i’ll PM ya hun”)

user1471517900 · 21/01/2018 14:35

Is she actually a bee? That would be cool

Surreal18 · 21/01/2018 14:36

Pardon?

OP posts:
user1471517900 · 21/01/2018 14:38

You said she's a B. I think we are all struggling to work out if you misspelt Bee?

MyGastIsFlabbered · 21/01/2018 14:38

You are allowed to swear on here. If she's a bitch then come on out and say so!

DonnyAndVladSittingInATree · 21/01/2018 14:40

Buzzzzzz

DonnyAndVladSittingInATree · 21/01/2018 14:40

You’re also allowed to include the actual information relevant to the story.

ilovesooty · 21/01/2018 14:43

I don't see how we can respond to you without any information. Her demands might be unreasonable or you and other workers may be underperforming.

No way of telling.

Surreal18 · 21/01/2018 14:46

She is a bitch, no people skills whatsoever. Due to the restructure I had to take a lesser job and its hard to watch my team mates taking on more and more work because my new boss can't actually make a stand. There said it.

OP posts:
WeirdCatLady · 21/01/2018 14:46

Does she expect you to make too much honey?

ShortandAnnoying · 21/01/2018 14:47

I know you've had some facetious replies to your OP but if you want advice on handling a difficult boss maybe you should post a bit more detail on what is going wrong and you may find some posters can be helpful.

ilovesooty · 21/01/2018 14:49

There said it

Still no really useful information apart from the fact that you're obviously resentful.

Surreal18 · 21/01/2018 14:52

Maybe I'm just venting like everyone does on here.

OP posts:
DonnyAndVladSittingInATree · 21/01/2018 14:52

There said it.

Well done. Very brave of you. I know what a risk that was.

DonnyAndVladSittingInATree · 21/01/2018 14:53

Btw is she a QB?

ShortandAnnoying · 21/01/2018 14:54

Well it doesn't sound like she is a bitch, just a bad manager. It's not really her fault if she has poor people skills and finds it hard to say no to workload. After all people in your team aren't taking a stand and saying no to her and maybe she feels just as unable to say no as you do.

SundaySalon · 21/01/2018 14:55

Confused you still haven’t really said anything. You said she putting work on everyone else? So not you? Are you annoyed your have been demoted and she in a more senior position? If you have actual concerns talk to her.
