For their own medical treatment. Children have died from eating them yet so many online are eating them for fun Angry

This is a thing ? Confused

purplecorkheart · 19/01/2018 11:32

I agree. I honestly can't believe this is a thing.

Singlebutmarried · 19/01/2018 11:33

There’s also a trend for vaping the liquitabs

It’s plain stupidity.

Sparklingbrook · 19/01/2018 11:33

It is a thing. A school locally has sent a letter out to parents to warn them. Sad

lostinblankers · 19/01/2018 11:33

Heard it's a thing. I also think they should pay for their treatment. Bloody stupid.

Yes, but then again you could say about smokers who end up with lung cancer and we can't possibly have that can we? Don't you know that in Britain everyone is entitled to have everything for free?

lostinblankers · 19/01/2018 11:36

This is not an addiction like smoking.

bettytaghetti · 19/01/2018 11:36

Wtf! I've heard some crazy things but this really takes the Biscuit.

AnyFucker · 19/01/2018 11:37

So it's the new craze to intentionally erode your stomach lining with a highly corrosive substance.

A substance that doesn't even give you a secondary pleasure like smoking or some other "harmful" pursuits

What is the point ?

Sparklingbrook · 19/01/2018 11:38

It is crazy but unfortunately children egg each other on to do crazy things. it has always been the same, only now you can post it online too.

ThePinkOcelot · 19/01/2018 11:38

People are actually doing this?! Why?!

lostinblankers · 19/01/2018 11:38

Maybe it's for the Darwin Awards.

IrkThePurist · 19/01/2018 11:40

Up til now, most of the people who have died from eating these have been people with learning difficulties or dementia, and they thought it was fruit.

I'd like to find the person who started it as a challenge and send them the bills.

lostinblankers · 19/01/2018 11:45

If you egg someone on to do this and that person is learning impaired or judgement impaired you should be done for assault.

crispybabe · 19/01/2018 11:53

Natural selection at it's finest.

SlothMama · 19/01/2018 11:54

I do wonder what genius thought this up in the first place...it's beyond me why anyone wants to eat laundry detergent

Missingstreetlife · 19/01/2018 11:56

Not free, we pay taxes. Fed up with this nonsense. Of course the silly brats shouldn't do it, but giving birth is dangerous, expensive and often a choice as are so many things. Life threatening hobbies, driving...
Doctors behave like god and they are doing u a favour. They get paid don't they. Stop judging.

Motoko · 19/01/2018 11:57

What the fuck?

just when you thought it simply wasnt possible for people to get more stupid, there they go, proving you wrong.

Yeah, makes me despair. Ever seen the film Idiocracy? I fear that despite it being a comedy, it's actually a warning of what's to come. (It is actually pretty funny.)

Ieatcake · 19/01/2018 11:57

I do think the manufacturers should not make them look like sweets, that does seem irresponsible

OP posts:
WhatToDoAboutThis2017 · 19/01/2018 11:58

Yep, they should. Same as smokers should pay for all their smoking related health needs (there is no reason for anyone to have started smoking; there is no benefit when you first start. It may become an addiction later but you literally gave yourself an addiction, so yes, you should still have to pay for everything you cost the NHS).

MsHomeSlice · 19/01/2018 11:59

Well, there's nothing like a bit of bleach in the Gene Pool

mehhh · 19/01/2018 12:00

Honestly what on earth is wrong with people... yes they should most definitely pay their own medical bills

fruitbrewhaha · 19/01/2018 12:00

Do they really look like sweets though?
Enormous sweet?
