...A Muppet Christmas Carol?

It's just so Christmassy and fun with such good music. Gives me a warm, snugly, cinnamon scented feeling deep within every time I watch it. On at 6:30 on Channel 4 today. (Christmas Eve)

What does it for you?

The Holiday. Watched it last night and it never gets old.

The Family Man. The only film I have ever loved that features Nicholas Creepy Cage. I can’t see it on anywhere in the TV guide this year though...panicking!

Goldenbug · 24/12/2017 16:40

Mince Pies. They taste of Christmas. Possibly helped by the fact they're not a year round thing.

Holiday Inn - the original "White Christmas" film. I've got to the stage that I'm incapable of wrapping presents in my home until I've watched it (or am watching it at the time).

Harvey's Bristol Cream sherry. Never drink it at any other time of the year but come the 24th and 25th December, when I visit my parents, I start working my way through the bottle from breakfast onwards. Wouldn't be Christmas without it.

ComtesseDeSpair · 24/12/2017 17:24

And YY to Carols from Kings. I time my Christmas Eve drive from London to my parents' house in Bath to coincide with it and listen as I drive. One of my favourite solitary traditions.

Never seen the Muppet Christmas Carol. I have seen a trailer for Elf, and quite honestly I'd rather pull my own fingernails out.
