WHY?
Did they do no market research?

GetOutOfMYGarden · 18/12/2017 19:59

You were probably one of 4 people that used it according to their market research

rightsofwomen · 18/12/2017 20:01

They didn’t even ask me [pout]

I used Tesco for the first time in ages and loved the shopping list, then when I went to do my next shop it was gone Angry I spent half an hour searching for it.

isaulte · 18/12/2017 20:04

I'm annoyed and I hate the new site. It takes ages to find anything.

Christmasaurus · 18/12/2017 20:08

I still have lists?

That’s not the same. I want to type in 30 items for a recipe or something.

CheekyRedhead · 18/12/2017 20:11

I'm so annoyed too! My lists have reappeared but I can't change them. I hate favourites. I have 9 pages to scroll through and if I forget something I have to start again Angry

idontlikealdi · 18/12/2017 20:12

I've been on at them I twitter about this - they keep saying they're bringing it back but no timeframe.

I've stopped using them for Sainsbury's instead as it was just taking too bloody long to do the shop.

workshyfop · 18/12/2017 20:13

Me too. It now takes me about 4 times as long to do a shop.

SilverySurfer · 18/12/2017 20:26

I've never used the list so won't miss it if it has gone. I agree the the changes they have made to the website have not been good, has made it slower and I don't like it.

LtGreggs · 18/12/2017 20:35

Lists was their best feature. Now, if I shop on laptop, less than one item fits on screen and I have to scroll to put anything in my basket.

It's quicker now to shop on phone app than on computer

dingdongdigeridoo · 18/12/2017 21:09

Yeah it’s annoying. I’ve switched to Asda as they do lists. Copying and pasting my shopping list one item at a time takes ages.

WetandMuddy · 18/12/2017 21:20

I especially hate the special offers section which is now all mixed up so you can't find the kind of things you like easily.
Why........?

Redpriestandmozart · 18/12/2017 21:24

I hate it now and vented my anger here months ago and nothing has changed :( shopping list is shite now, shows items I bought 6 years ago but won't let me edit or add to it now. Each week I used to go to favourites, my usuals and add everything over in one click, now it doesn't show all my usuals and they have to be added one at a time. When this debacle all started a few months ago I rang almost weekly to complain and the people on the phone said they got complaints all day long and agreed with me!!

PoptartPoptart · 18/12/2017 21:27

Oooh, I’ve found my people!
I have complained about this several times to Tesco, along with the fact that I can no longer search by category within ‘my favourites’.
It’s so frustrating and takes so much longer.
Why oh why don’t they bloody listen to their customers?!

Susiesue61 · 18/12/2017 21:33

It has got really slow!! I emailed them but got no reply 😡 Am going back to Sainsburys in the new year

StoorieHoose · 18/12/2017 21:36

On the website it says Lists are back but they are still working on them being editable again. It been like that for months - their tech team must be pants if they are still working on it!

TotemIcePole · 18/12/2017 21:37

Can someone twitter them a link to this page!

rightsofwomen · 19/12/2017 09:24

I would if I had the time, but it took me 7 hours to do my online shop!

Christmas what we mean is the ability to create a new list. My current list has 80 items on it, many of which are things I haven't bought for years!

My usuals or favourites (can't remember now) has over 340 items across 7 pages and takes for ever to go through.

OP posts:
Kleinzeit · 19/12/2017 09:27

I also can't put my whole shopping list straight into the basket any more. I have to go through it item by item, well what's the point of that?

GreenBook · 19/12/2017 09:29

And half the stuff on my list is things that they no longer stock - well, sodding take them off then! I don't need the thing I bought until you stopped making it, the thing I replaced it with but then you also stopped making, and the thing I'm now having to buy but you will probably stop making soon. Just remove the ones you don't do any longer, and make my list a sensible length!

rightsofwomen · 19/12/2017 09:33

I like that my usuals/favourites has about 20 different sorts of gin in it! I use gin as my deliver slot place holder ie bung it in basket, check out then update it at my own leisure.

OP posts:
Dunkling · 19/12/2017 09:55

There is so much wrong with their new site...

No lists
Favourites doesn't work properly
Every item you search for, the cursor placement automatically deleting the last item in the search bar that everyone else has, doesn't exist. So for every item, you have to delete back and back for each letter.
Search doesn't work... I typed beef tomato. Nope don't have them. Typed tomato, yup, there's my beef tomato FFS!!

And as for checkout... I think it takes about 4 pages of asking what I might have forgotten, or might like to substitute before it lets me bloody pay!!

KathArtic · 19/12/2017 10:00

Iv'e just done an Asda online order and it was bliss. I like that little pictures pop up as you type too.

How can Tesco get it so wrong. They've created it from a marketing view "This item is no longer available - have you tried..." NO. This just makes everything twice as long.

Also you can't create your own favouites. They have kindly done this for you based on what you bought previously. But I buy different things depending if they are on offer or the usual is out of stock. So that's every flavour, shape, colour, size and brand. Argh.
