To do it all online?

Just that really. Has anyone else ordered the majority of their Christmas presents online?
I can't stand physically shopping, and queuing and masses of people.
I have a feeling the Amazon man already hates me!

We have done most of it online. The teenagers wanted mainly stuff you can only get online TBF.

DH and I ventured into town yesterday early, had breakfast then bought a few bits before the rush started.

isernamesarerubbish · 17/12/2017 20:10

Did all of it, much more relaxing!

MyRelationshipIsWeird · 17/12/2017 20:11

I literally don't set foot in a shop at this time of year, I don't get why anyone would!

Went into town to meet a friend for lunch last week, and foolishly thought I'd pop into a few shops while I was there. Got so hot and flustered that I bought a load of crap and then took it all back as soon as we said our goodbyes!

Ebay throughout November (lots of stuff comes from abroad) then Amazon Prime all the way in December Grin

Bobbins43 · 17/12/2017 20:11

Yup, another one for everything online here. Anything and everything. Food, presents, gift wrap. As much as I can.

NeedMoreSleepOrSugar · 17/12/2017 20:11

I think must people do at least some, if not must of their Christmas shopping online!

I've bought locally/ from independent retailers as much as possible this year, but actually even that has been largely online. I think at least 90% of my Christmas gift shopping this year has been done online!

Allthewaves · 17/12/2017 20:11

I did nearly everything except stocking fillers

toriatoriatoria · 17/12/2017 20:12

I've done most of mine online, so much easier.

user1493413286 · 17/12/2017 20:12

Yep me too, I don’t have the time to go when the shops are open and I’m trying to save money and finding best deals online.

Maelstrop · 17/12/2017 20:13

Amazon and eBay, all the way.

MrsDilber · 17/12/2017 20:13

Did most of it online. I have 30+ to buy for. The wrapping was a nightmare.

TealStar · 17/12/2017 20:13

This year, I have done EVERYTHING online.

MrsDilber · 17/12/2017 20:13

Ps. I really mustn't forget to tip the postie.

laudanum · 17/12/2017 20:14

I do ALL of my shopping online. Why on earth would anyone want to inflict Shopping on themselves at any time of year, never mind this one? I mean maybe it's just me, but there is nothing more likely to make me go FUCK NO than, let's go shopping!

I'd rather stab meself in the face with a SPOON. D:

PeonyBucket · 17/12/2017 20:16

I've done the vast majority online. Like a pp I ventured into town last week and was very quickly hot, bothered and overwhelmed. I bought nothing. Queues too long. Came home and got a few more things online.

leccybill · 17/12/2017 20:17

Amazon Prime for almost everything here. The rest Asos, The Hut, Debenhams - all online.
Only shop I've been in is Home Bargains for cheap bits and stocking fillers.

TheWoollybacksWife · 17/12/2017 20:17

I'm just trying to think of something I haven't bought online or in a supermarket when I was doing my food shop. The only thing I can think of is an M&S sweater for DH that I bought at the beginning of November before the shops got crowded.

ScrabbleFiend · 17/12/2017 20:21

Yep, all of it. Ventured into town once , It was awful, I couldn't even get near the stuff I wanted to look at because of the hoards of staff constantly stocking up. Big mistake, lasted an hour and came home.

SparklingSnowfall · 17/12/2017 20:23

Yep, I'd say I've done about 95% online and had it all delivered to my work (they don't mind at all) so it's been great!

OhOurBilly · 17/12/2017 20:27

All of it. Am yet to step inside a shop and I'm finished. Wanted a few things I couldn't get hold of but not a big deal. Need to go to a florist and then wrap but other than that I'm pleased with it. Third year I've done the majority online and it's been so much easier. Although i do start in July.

SheRaaarghPrincessOfPower · 17/12/2017 20:28

100% online this year.

I hate the shops in December, serious sensory overload for me. I love that I'm all done and the only shop I need to go to is the co-op down the road.

Babababababybel23 · 17/12/2017 20:29

Yes amazon guy sees me at least 4 times a week. I have prime so it's next day delivery. I always forget something when I order. 90% of my shopping was done online

Chaznip · 17/12/2017 20:30

I have found my people Grin
Tried today to get onto the local shopping park for last bits, queued for 20 minutes without getting anywhere near the place. Came to my senses ("wtf am I doing here?") and took the sprog for lunch instead.
Laudanum i feel exactly the same. Unfortunately my DP loves shopping, or 'meandering' as he calls it. I want to rip everyone's head off.
The only problem with Amazon Is the packaging-oh the boxes!

Ellybellyboo · 17/12/2017 20:30

Pretty much all online for me

I’ve got to go to a farm shop for some local cheese and chutney as they don’t sell online, and I’ve been into town for stocking bits, but all the main stuff has been online

I hate shopping at the best of time and I have no patience to queue

Tortycat · 17/12/2017 20:32

Yes do most of it online. Dc are 3 and 1 and i just cant face traipsing them round the shops. I do feel guilty as i used to buy lots from local independent shops which i suspect will go out of business more and more, but its just beyond me at the mo. Ive also bought quite a bit this year that ive had to return eg dont fit, colour different etc which is a pain. Wish i could get to a few shops!

healthyheart · 17/12/2017 20:34

All of it. Including the food shops.
