After Eight LTB?

Is taking an After Eight and leaving the paper behind in the box an LTB offence?

Yes

Tinselistacky · 10/12/2017 11:39

You could always make some interesting Christmas tree decorations with his testicles instead... Xmas Grin

Ridingthegravytrain · 10/12/2017 11:40

Yes, although there is also the excitement of squishing all the empty wrappers together to the end and discovering there are one or two left

MoodyTwo · 10/12/2017 11:42

Yes it is, but so is opening the tub of celebrations and finding just empty wrappers 😤

JustAnIdiot · 10/12/2017 11:43

Who on earth puts celebrations wrappers back in the box?? Shock

Brokenbutbreathing · 10/12/2017 11:44

Tinsel testicles Xmas Grin

No it is definitely not LTB territory. It is time for a new patio. There is no greater crime.

Celticlassie · 10/12/2017 11:49

I do it. Blush It annoys me too, but I think it's so DH doesn't notice how many I've eaten. Grin

Annelind · 10/12/2017 11:52

I don't understand....are you actually SHARING a box? Shock

LipstickHandbagCoffee · 10/12/2017 11:59

I leave the after eight paper in box, as I only lift out the sweetie.didnt know was wrong

Brokenbutbreathing · 10/12/2017 12:02

Annelind of course: a schoolgirl error on my part.

Lipstick say seven Hail Marys.

Put the empty wrappers under his pillow. After a while of wondering what that annoying cracking noise is when he moves his head, he won't do it again.

howabout · 10/12/2017 12:09

I don't mind this. Usually me that tidies up the empty box and finds the last one hiding among the empty wrappers.

MrsGrindah · 10/12/2017 12:10

Oh yes there’s nothing more disappointing than an empty chocolate wrapper masquerading as a tantalisingly full one!

Mind you, DH has infuriated me this morning by wrapping the presents......in birthday wrapping paper! He even had the Christmas paper on the table in front of him. He cannot understand my distress “ it’s all paper”!

YetAnotherSpartacus · 10/12/2017 12:10

Was it the last one?

FeeLock28 · 10/12/2017 12:17

What about squeezing the toothpaste tube from the middle? Almost as bad as leaving the cap off the tube (before they were manufactured as attached ...)

liquidrevolution · 10/12/2017 12:19

I leave the wrappers in the box. As a PP pointed out its fun to squish them at the end and find a few I've missed.

I'm the only one eating them though. In this instance sharing is not caring. And DH hasnt found the hiding place yet.

liquidrevolution · 10/12/2017 12:21

MrsGrindah WTAF???!!!! get the shovel quickly. Definite new patio needed...

grannytomine · 10/12/2017 12:26

You could always make some interesting Christmas tree decorations with his testicles instead You need glitter, pva glue and some gold ribbon. It will look so festive.

AnnieAnoniMouse · 10/12/2017 12:29

I buy them every year because it’s just not Christmas without them, but I finally admitted to myself last year, that I really don’t much like them 😂. I’m saving my sugar quota/treats for the odd Quality Street that I still like and anything with Baileys in/on/around it!

(Medical limitations, not a sugar grinch!)

However, when I did eat them I was incredibly frustrated by others leaving the empty wrappers in the box and simultaneously doing the same myself! Do as I SAY, not as I DO FGS people! 🤣

TheLittleShirt · 10/12/2017 12:37

This reminds me of last Christmas at my Mum's, took a Ferrero Rocher and popped in my bag for later. Got home and unwrapped it only to find it was lots of empty wrappers rolled into a ball............devastated!

Bratsandtwats · 10/12/2017 12:43

YANBU

It just lulls you into a false sense of security.

LTB!

LipstickHandbagCoffee · 10/12/2017 19:32

Well I never knew it was a source of annoyance!its just so easy to lift out the wafer thin treat

mustbemad17 · 10/12/2017 19:35

LTB is too easy. I have a spare slot in the body shed if you would like to utilise it? It will cost you one (unopened) box of After Eights...

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 10/12/2017 19:37

Surely part of the fun is doing very bad, tiny origami with the After Eight wrapper? Can’t do that if you leave it in the box!
