Someone on a thread the other day said they once played a leper in a nativity 😂

lookatyourwatchnow · 11/11/2017 20:33

I would love it if my DC got to play lepers. Such better comedy value than a Shepherd

BattleaxeGalactica · 11/11/2017 20:35

Ds1 was bird three (v. proud mummy moment), dd was a robot and ds2 hit the thesp heights when he was cast as the littlest Christmas tree.

I was on the PTA too Shock

calamityjam · 11/11/2017 20:36

Dh and ds both played trees. Same school, same teacher 30 years apart.

PolarBearGoingSomewhere · 11/11/2017 20:38

My best friend and I once played Cat and Lytic the converters Grin

cardibach · 11/11/2017 20:39

A polar bear with an axe in DDs nativity.

LegallyBrunet · 11/11/2017 20:41

My brother was once an elephant in the nativity. Loads of people bought the DVD that year because he started a fight with the other elephants and the photographer filmed that instead of the actual nativity. I was once a member of the homeguard (I'm a girl!) in a Christmas play set in WWII

TheTurnOfTheScrew · 11/11/2017 20:43

there was a Piece of Cheese in DC2's nativity a couple of years ago. It was quite a big role, actually.

millionsofpeaches · 11/11/2017 20:44

Dd's had party pigs last year!!

iismum · 11/11/2017 20:44

I was the chair of the parent council, and it really paid off when DD landed the plum role of the third chicken in her nativity.

titbumwillypoo · 11/11/2017 21:04

I school i worked at did the Inn Keepers breakfast, children dressed as bacon, sausage and eggs. It was surreal.

JesusInTheCabbageVan · 11/11/2017 21:08

DS was a Stoormtrooper in last year's nativity (quite a loose adaptation.)

Pollaidh · 11/11/2017 21:14

King Herod's harem was somewhat unexpected in a very nice infant school...

JayZed · 11/11/2017 21:25

I remember all the boys in my class fought to be Jordan (Katie Price in her glamour model days) in the nativity one year Hmm

Alexindisguise · 11/11/2017 21:28

My nephew was a rock, he had to stay still crouched dressed in grey for the whole play. He was 4 and struggled with the still bit.

wobblywonderwoman · 11/11/2017 21:35

These are hilarious
All boring roles in our school sadly

UnicornPug · 11/11/2017 21:42

I once had a child tell his mum he'd been cast as an alligator. Thankfully she queried it before buying the costume as I'd actually cast him as a narrator....

Warmworm · 11/11/2017 21:46

My dd was a vine. Her friend was a sea urchin. Grin

EnglishRose13 · 11/11/2017 21:49

When I was 4, I had the part of a snowflake in the nativity.

I played a robin the following year.

Dixiestampsagain · 11/11/2017 22:05

My DD ‘auditioned’ to be Sharon Osborne this week but was a little disappointed to be chosen as Mary!!

sizeofalentil · 11/11/2017 22:06

My friend played a wall in our school nativity play

DustyCropHopper · 11/11/2017 22:14

My ds2 is a tea towel seller!

ILoveMillhousesDad · 11/11/2017 22:15

My dd's school plays are always a bit bizarre and goes on for nearly 2 hours. There are all kinds of random characters in that!!

SpecialAgentDaleCooper · 11/11/2017 22:18

DD was a dancing sheep in a nativity .
