To drink gin n lemonade instead of tonic?

Just that really..

We used to at uni because lemonade was much cheaper! I do prefer tonic with it, but if you prefer lemonade what's the problem?

YADBU in my opinion, but that said, life's too short to drink anything other than what you enjoy !

I had this issue as I can’t stand tonic. Then I discovered Ginger Ale! Gin and ginger is now my tipple if choice

Drink it with whatever you like!

Ps I drink it with whatever is available- tonic, lemonade, coke, elderberry....

I just don't like anything bitter. I really enjoy it with lemonade. Lol

Rhubarb gin with ginger beer. Or gin with Fanta lemon

I love a G&T but some people hate bitter things and some of them have a gene which makes them particularly sensitive to bitter flavours. Do you hate coffee and bitter veg like cabbage or sprouts as well?

I have it with soda water, lemonade or near as I'm allergic to tonic water.

I love tonic water, but gin and cranberry juice is really delicious - very summery.

Add elderflower cordial to a gin and tonic if you want it to be sweeter.

Have you tried fever-Tree tonic water? It’s much nicer than most tonics. I love gin with cloudy lemonade. It’s a really nice combo.

I'm not a fan of tonic so I have it with lemonade :)

I love a classic G&T, but I appreciate gin in all its forms. Sloe gin is particularly good with lemonade. If you add it to bitter lemon it's delicious and it has a proper name (long peddler I believe) so it's a legitimate drink and not just me making it up! Also gin, ginger ale, a squeeze of lemon juice and plenty of ice is a gorgeous drink.

I don't like tonic so often drink my gin with lemonade or juice.

Hate tonic, always drink it with lemonade or, bitter lemon.
