Eating bacon rolls...with cutlery!?

Currently staying at DPs parents house. They are wonderful people and always provide lots of lovely food wherever we visit. His mum produced bacon and egg rolls. Looking forward as rarely eat bacon rolls. She made the rolls herself, bacon from a local award winning butchers and eggs from a neighbour. Sat down to eat...to which they proceeded to do so using a knife and fork...for bacon rolls

Sorry but it's Bacon Barm!! A roll is hard and crusty and an accompaniment to soup. A butty is normal sliced bread.
