Thought a child had stuck a random one the first time I saw one. Have seen several over past few months.
They must have a deal with the gym.

I've noticed this at my gym. Think it's appalling. Makes me so angry. Been meaning to go to the manager and ask what they have as an equivalent in the men's locker room but am always in a rush

I guess, from MrJohnson's comment, you feel it;s sexist. How so? Basic biology would cover why men may not have the same issues of 'scent' from their genitals.

It is nothing to do with the patriarchy telling us we must be feminine and smell nice. Men use deodorant, aftershave etc. They simply don't have the moistness and bacteria that we do down below.

'Moistness' doesn't require a special scented wash to get rid of it. It's meant to be there. Men are 'moist' under their foreskin, but nobody tries to sell them scented cock-wipes.

And as for bacteria, OF COURSE men have bacteria on their genitals, FFS. Everyone has bacteria on every part of their body all the time and most of them are entirely harmless and don't make you smell.

There is absolutely nothing about women's genitals that makes them any more unhygienic, smelly or dirty than men's.

Moreover, products like Femfresh are more likely to wipe out healthy bacteria and cause a problem where there was no problem to start with. They cause irritation, mess up your natural pH balance down there and exist solely to make money out of insecurities they have created with their own marketing.

Products like femfresh are designed not to mess with Ph balances. Men don't need to worry about this with their "cock wipes" as cocks and fannys are different. The bacteria which grow on male and females are different and the ways in which we care for them are different.

There is nothing wrong with femfresh. When my ex went to the doctor, he was told to stop using soap, and use femfresh (if he wanted to use anything other than water). Lol. It was known as willy wash in my household...

Adverts get put anywhere people think they can make money out of them. If you don't like the product or brand, don't buy it. If you don't like the companies the swimming pool allow to advertise, don't go to the swimming pool.

Seeing an advert does not automatically make a child buy the product. I've never smoked, but grew up at a time where cigarette adverts were on every billboard and in every newspaper / magazine. Even as a child or teenager, I was capable of overcoming the adverts' magical powers.

I doubt you use different products on your face specifically because someone has told you that your face stinks and isn't 'fresh' if you don't use a special scented facewash, though. That's the difference between Femfresh and facial skincare products.

It's simply a product designed for use in that area if you personally feel water alone isn't the choice for you.

Do you go around smelling a lot of both, then?! A healthy vagina doesn't smell unpleasant unless you never change your knickers or shower. All it needs to wash it is water. If your vagina smells sufficiently strongly for it to be noticeably unpleasant, you have a health issue (which won't be fixed with Femfresh).

It has a scent, yes, just as a man's penis has a scent. It's not an unpleasant one, however, and it doesn't need to be obliterated with a special product. The only person who gets close enough to smell it is a partner going down on you, and s/he is far more likely to find its natural scent a turn-on than something that needs a special lady-detergent to obliterate.

I've washed mine with water for 50 years and I can promise you it doesn't smell, nor do I need specialist wipes to clean it, nor does it suddenly breed loads of bacteria.

I think the point people are making is that it is targeting girls/ women to suggest that they need to use this to keep thier vagina smelling 'fresh and clean' (particularly as in a pool they are only wearing a swimsuit or bikini.)

Many young girls are influenced by advertising especially when it comes to feminine 'health & beauty' crap. It's a conscious marketing ploy.

Women do not need to use this stuff but if girls are told this often enough then they will believe it. It will be one more thing to chip away at girls self esteem and become another important 'thing' to worry about when it shouldn't be.

And don't make me laugh about men's sweaty/smeggy undercarriage never having a particular smell. Don't see any 'Menfresh' advertised in the changing areas do we?😁😁

Are they? I'm not so sure. I was exposed to literally thousands of advertising as a teen and I didn't buy or do half the shit that I saw.
