It feels like ages since they've added any good series/more seasons of popular series on there. Considering dropping the subscription altogether.

Really? Ive got loads to catch up on. Gotham, suits, ozark...

Mumteedum · 08/09/2017 19:00

Gypsy

ILoveMillhousesDad · 08/09/2017 19:02

I kind of agree. But I like to watch series' of stuff and don't even look at the movies.

There is a wealth of stuff on there, I'm just not willing (yet) to jump in.

Documentaries, stand up shows, films, foreign language shows and films.

I tend to exhaust the popularist stuff and need to take a leap into the unknown.

McDougal · 08/09/2017 19:03

Narcos season three has been put released this week. That justifies the subscription cost as far as I'm concerned

MonochromeDog · 08/09/2017 19:03

Really? I've just reached season 7 of Suits, completely binge watched it. The new Stephen King series The Mist is really good! I'm on episode 6 now.

AnyFucker · 08/09/2017 19:04

have you seen "Power" ?

McDougal · 08/09/2017 19:04

Narcos season three has been put released this week. That justifies the subscription cost as far as I'm concerned Star

McDougal · 08/09/2017 19:04

Oops, sorry for the random star.

LivingInMidnight · 08/09/2017 19:06

Power is great!

Graphista · 08/09/2017 19:08

Same not watched anything on it for ages, will occasionally find an OK film on there or one I've seen before I know I like. But since the loss of charmed, lie to me, fringe and a few others... Not impressed.

Dd still watches PLL and OITNB which I couldn't get into.

I was I think up to season 4 of suits but found it wasn't as good as it had been.

notsmartenough · 08/09/2017 19:20

I've only had Netflix for a few months so for me there's still a lot I want to see.
I think it's good - my only worry is that I won't have time to watch what I want to before it gets taken off.

Ttbb · 08/09/2017 22:37

It just seems like it I've exhausted the stuff that is to my taste (period dramas, American horror story, house, startrek etc). I never really got into narcos and got tired of OITNB and suits pretty quickly. All of the documentaries are pretty terrible (although I do occasionally watch one of the kings and queens of England type things every now and then out if desparation but it's no David starkey). I watched about half of lovebird but the subtitles were starting to make my eyes sore so I stopped watching so regularly. I quite likedBorgia/Medici, not a lot but enough to watch it. Can't really watch pride and prejudice anymore. Same goes for Star Trek, only so much you can watch. Poldark was very pretty but rewatching is a bit painful. Am I just not looking hard enough? Anything added recently that you guys are watching?

I really enjoyed Ozark

And i love Sons of Anarchy

What about house of cards that American politics show

better call Saul has its moments

karalime · 08/09/2017 22:44

Glow is my new favourite thing.

noblegiraffe · 08/09/2017 22:46

What about the Marvel stuff? Luke Cage? Jessica Jones? We're currently watching The Defenders.

Nuttynoo · 08/09/2017 22:47

The new star trek is coming on it soon I think. The 100 is on it. Firefly. Expanse (is the new Star trek). They have the Marvel superhero shows.

Maskoff · 08/09/2017 22:47

Now tv is better

balsamicbarbara · 08/09/2017 22:48

For movies or documentaries it's become pretty pants. Or, well, anything except 5000 hour long modern American drama dross that could just as easily have been a movie..

Nuttynoo · 08/09/2017 22:49

White Hats is the best documentary I've seen in a long time.

DontDrinkDontSmoke · 08/09/2017 22:52

F for Family is randomly brilliant. I don't know if I'm the target audience though.

khajiit13 · 08/09/2017 22:52

I've just watched GLOW Next is power, hear great things about that. Shamelessly Rick & Morty. Sons of anarchy is great

SandSnakeOfDorne · 08/09/2017 22:52

There's a new series of the Expanse just been added.

Rufustherenegadereindeer1 · 08/09/2017 22:57

Didnt get on with Glow but i enjoyed Orange is the new black

Helena333 · 08/09/2017 23:17

Sorry @Ttbb, YABVVVVU. Netflix is better than ever. Shock Many many amazing new programmes, AND old ones too, (Doctor Who, The 100, Bates Motel, American Horror Story etc etc,) and films and everything.

What's not to love?

Orange is the new black, Ozark, Stranger things, Narcos, Orphan Black, F for family, United States of Tara, Sons of Anarchy, Breaking Bad, lots of old terrestrial tv series that I haven't seen for ages, Documentaries, foreign language shows, and films. Stephen King stuff, and new Star Trek coming soon, in addition to Black Mirror! There is loads of amazing stuff on there. It is WELL worth £7.49 a month- that's less than a packet of cigarettes!!! No wonder it's the most popular streaming service!

As far as I am concerned, it's one of the best things to hit this century!

Maybe cancel if you're not loving it? Wink
