I've just managed to finish all the the uniform shopping in record time (shame everyone else had the same idea Grin)
Have treated the kids to have coffee and cake
The only place we've bagged to sit is at the long bar which is opposite the baristas station

It's busy in here and a guy has just taken everything off a double table (whilst I was in the loo) and plonked it all over the bar-even shoving stuff in between the DCs plates they are eating off

He continuing doing it when I came to sit down

I politely told him we are still eating
"Well I have nowhere to sit" and he walked off

AIBU if I put the stuff back on his table and put the minging plates and lipstick encrusted napkins that have been plonked on ds's panini on his espresso?

Grin

Have asked the barista who is "too busy and short staffed "

Hisnamesblaine · 30/08/2017 13:23

Cheeky twat

WillowWeeping · 30/08/2017 13:23

Put it back on his table. What a cheeky fucker!

DartmoorDoughnut · 30/08/2017 13:24

If you don't pile it all up around the CF whilst smiling I'll be very disappointed Grin

He's bloody rude

ChasedByBees · 30/08/2017 13:41

I'd make the staff deal with it and ask for a fresh sandwich.

BenLui · 30/08/2017 13:42

Plates on the floor is dangerous.

Is there really no where else you could put them?

What an arse!

Not too impressed with the barista either

Jux · 30/08/2017 13:55

Very rude. I would pile everything back onto his table, but hey.

Sara107 · 30/08/2017 13:55

Rude, and staff attitude doesn't sound great either! Have you already paid? I would be considering walking out without paying for it all if not. Nobody wants to eat food that has had someone elses crap on it. Sorry your treat has ended up a bit stressful!

SparklyUnicornPoo · 30/08/2017 13:56

When you get to the front of the queue be sure to loudly explain why you need a new sandwich. and I'd be putting the napkins IN his espresso.

Karmapolicearrestthisman · 30/08/2017 13:59

Arsey staff, arsey bloke. I'd dump the plates at the barista station and not on the floor.

FriendshipBraclet · 30/08/2017 14:01

I'd make him pay for ds sandwich, how dare he plonk dirty things on the plate of someone eating. Tell the staff to sort it. Outrageous!

JKR123 · 30/08/2017 14:02

I would be tempted to do what Sara has suggested and walk out. Staff don't sound very helpful. Such a shame that some rude arse has ruined it for you.

PinkHeart5911 · 30/08/2017 14:04

So your buying another toastie becuase he put rubbish on your ds one? Well he should bloody well being paying for it!

How did you not say " does this look like a rubbish bin to you" when you see him putting rubbish where you were sitting? His parents never taught him any sodding manners did they?

Jux · 30/08/2017 14:05

You could say to him "It's so sad that you didn't manage to learn manners quite as well as you managed to learn entitlement." Very loudly but with a pleasant smile.

Or "I can recommend the panini - my son had to have two, as he didn't find the addition of someone else's lipstick very tempting."
