Right-wingers are preparing for genocide?

The governor of Virginia has confirmed that they discovered hidden caches and stockpiles of weapons. The alt-right in Charlottesville were preparing to committ mass genocide: the protest was a distraction for what they're preparing for. We should all be scared: these guys have connections to neo-Nazis and right-wing extremists across Europe. The same thing was done in Rwanda right before the genocide committed there: the perpetrators hid stockpiles of machetes and weapons beforehand. Donald Trump, Brexit and Marine LePen prove that these racists and nazis feel like they've been given permission to start planning the annihilation of minorities, the LGBTQ community, the disabled and anyone else they deem inferior. Why won't people see what's coming?

Hi, are you ok OP? I think this sounds really unlikely. The reason I ask if you are ok is that when I have bad anxiety I sometimes fixate on stuff like this which is unlikely to happen

If you mean the assortment of battle re-enactment types who turned up in Virginia with their home-made torches and dressing-up box robes – no, I don’t think they are going to be committing genocide any time soon.

They don’t have the numbers, the weapons or indeed the sheer bulk of surgical support stockings they’d need to be combat-ready. They might take out a wasps’ nest or two on their way home I suppose.

The USA and U.K. Have an excellent Army and police force. I doubt very much genocide can be commuted in these countries.

I don't think a mass genocide like Rwanda is likely or imminent.
Sadly I do think we are going to see plenty more attacks from extremists of both the Islamic and right wing fascist stripes.

Look at the calibre of insurgent they are.
One of them was shovelling and crying on tv when he got fired! Didn't mean it apparently.
They are fantasy land dress up guys who have spent too long on the internet and watching big manly man films.
They are capable of violence, sure, but not a sustained campaign that involves them getting uncomfortable.

They marched openly with weapons in Charlottesville. They look like they're forming a malitia.
They look like their testing the waters. Let's face it, cops will shoot a black child carrying a toy gun but allowed this. I don't think the authorities are that bothered at all if they start killing people in the streets

The cops had to allow it, Virginia is an open carry state. There were people on the opposite side carrying guns too.

Well I voted for Brexit and Conservative in the last GE, so I suppose I would be designated as Right Wing on here.

I have absolutely no desire, plan, or wish to kill or help to kill anyone anywhere,

(apart from Donald Trump obviously)

Right wing? Right wing is voting conservative and believing some pretty questionable stuff about healthcare and welfare cuts (this isn't the thread for it). Not wanting to murder Muslims!!!
