Obviously IABU and mustn't be a proper mumsnetter because I have no knowledge of the stuff. Please tell me about the magical properties and uses. Do you use it straight or diluted? Where do you get it from and how much does it cost? What's the best scent? I feel like I need it in my life!

Im new to zoflora it's supposed to be 1 part mixed with 40 parts water or something so I just put a bit in a bucket or spray bottle and mix with water I got it from pound land so it was just a £1

Soubriquet · 08/08/2017 12:36

Diluted!

Just cleaned my dogs crate with it after I spotted she had peed in it Hmm

My favourite at the moment has to be special edition pink grapefruit

Costs £1 from Wilkos

AuntSallyLovesWorzel · 08/08/2017 12:38

Home bargains sell it for around a £1.50, you need to dilute or if its a particularly bad whiff use it neat.
My late mum used to swear by it as well as the other one which name evades me.... excellent stuff . I think there are now two scents, the floral one is very potent.

wobblywonderwoman · 08/08/2017 12:41

If you tip a little into a pack of babywipes - great for freshening up worksurfaces. Or dilute on a spray gun and freshen up carpets or mattresses. Tiny bit in with a wash.

Watch out. Not all the fragrances are pleasant - pink grapefruit smells clean and lovely.

PointlessUsername · 08/08/2017 13:02

Fresh linen or the cinnamon christmas one are my faves.

I havent seen the grapefruit one i will look out for it now.

NauticalDisaster · 08/08/2017 13:05

Just don't' mix it with bleach or other cleaning products when you do dilute it: www.belfastlive.co.uk/news/belfast-news/mum-three-overcome-deadly-chlorine-13445076

Brittbugs80 · 08/08/2017 13:08

I use it diluted in spray bottle for wiping work surface down and cleaning bathroom. I dilute some on the sink to put mop head in to mop floor then leave my kitchen cloths to soak in overnight.

I love Lavender and Pink Grapefruit.

Whiterabbitears · 08/08/2017 13:44

I use it to clean the floors, it leaves such a lovely clean smell and the floors do seem much fresher. Its a pity its such a small bottle though I always dilute it.

PsychoPumpkin · 08/08/2017 13:52

I have honeysuckle & jasmine, it's very nice!

Peachypeaches · 08/08/2017 13:53

I like the fresh linen one. I use it on my tiled floors. In the winter I wipe over my radiators with some on a damp cloth - smells gorgeous. I also used it to clean out the paddling pool which was a bit mouldy when we got it out of the shed this year.

Orangebird69 · 08/08/2017 13:55

Straight in the plug holes. Diluted for washing down stuff. I don't measure out though Confused. Twilight Garden is my fave.

smileygrapefruit · 08/08/2017 14:30

Ok so how big is this bottle for £1 at wilkos etc? Don't have anything like that nearby so looked on Amazon and they are around £6 for 500ml 😮

OP posts:
Kailoer · 08/08/2017 14:33

we don't have a wilkos around here any more

where else can you get it?

there's a B&M in the next town, and a home bargains on the way into DH's work. might they sell it? i think there's also an iceland and farmfoods and a Poundland (grasping at straws) in the same shopping bit near us too.

Kailoer · 08/08/2017 14:34

Oh, wait, DH has just said the one he drives by is a Pound World, not pound land.

If i send him on a trip might they sell it?
i've seen this stuff being talked about on MN for a long time and i'm curious about it!

weebarra · 08/08/2017 14:36

I was prompted to go into my local Savers store today where I got some pink grapefruit and also jasmine. They had bigger bottles too but I didn't want to risk buying them until I knew if I liked the smell!

InDubiousBattle · 08/08/2017 14:36

Home bargains definitely sell it for about £1.50, that's for around a 300 ml bottle (I've run out so can't look!). I like the apple one and use it very diluted to wash down paint work, glass doors, anything really!

ItchyFoot · 08/08/2017 14:37

You can definitely get it from B&M. I put a cap or two of it straight into the cistern of the toilet. I like the idea of it neat down the plug holes.

Madeyemoodysmum · 08/08/2017 14:57

I like lilac
Hyacinth
The linen one didn't smell enough for me
Country garden is also ok

I get mine from savers for £1 I like to get small ones and have about 4 smells in the cupboard. They last ages as you only need a tiny bit.

Arealhumanbeing · 08/08/2017 15:11

B&M. £1.00 for a small bottle £3.99 for 500ml.

Get a few of the small ones to figure out your favourite fragrances. I love pink grapefruit and hyacinth.

hiphopcat · 08/08/2017 15:12

Don't use it. The smell makes me gag.

otterlynutty · 08/08/2017 15:23

AuntSallyLovesWorzel My late mum used to swear by it as well as the other one which name evades me....

Stardrops?

CoughingForWeeks · 08/08/2017 15:35

www.zoflora.co.uk/products

I got unreasonably excited when I spotted the limited edition pink grapefruit, but my favourite from the standard range is hyacinth. The smell of Stardrops also takes me right back to childhood, though I don't think they do the glass bottles any more.

x2boys · 08/08/2017 15:41

I can't remember wether it was pound land or pound world I got mine the less popular one?

AuntSallyLovesWorzel · 08/08/2017 15:51

If it helps otter it's in a tin, stinks to high heaven, do you think I can remember the name, great for rinsing your bins out , fantastic when there is sickness in the house ... dabnabbit ! it will come to me eventually .

AuntSallyLovesWorzel · 08/08/2017 15:52

Jeyes fluid, see only took me a few hours !!
