To steal my friend's dog

Lighthearted!

I'm house/puppy sitting for a friend and I've totally fallen in love with her dog. I've never had a pet and have never really understood how people get so attached to theirs until now.

Can I demand joint custody? Ask for visitation rights?

Or just stick to looking at cute puppy pictures on the internet? Grin

Is she a nurse?

I know the dog you mean.

cakecakecheese · 30/06/2017 09:50

Nope not a nurse.

Here he is.

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 30/06/2017 09:51

So sweet ❤️

BigGreenOlives · 30/06/2017 09:52

Magic ears

WhooooAmI24601 · 30/06/2017 09:52

Oh he's adorable. Once you start loving dogs there's no going back. You'll be a dog owner before the year's out, mark my words.

Hoppinggreen · 30/06/2017 09:53

Those ears!!!!
However, puppies can be vile little creatures - that's why they have to be cute as well.
Once they have chewed your favourite shoes, crapped somewhere they shouldn't and woken you up at 3am for a pee and used your ankle as a chew toy you might not be so keen.
(Can you tell I have one?)

harderandharder2breathe · 30/06/2017 10:00

He's adorable!

YADNBU to demand visitation rights!

I regularly visit my friends dog (I used to flatshare with friend and dog) and take him out for the day.

Justhadmyhaircut · 30/06/2017 10:01

You must go for 50/50...

FidgetSpinner · 30/06/2017 10:03

Omg, he's adorable! Yanbu.

ListenToYourHeart · 30/06/2017 10:04

Omg the ears 😍😍😍

You deserve 50/50 rights! Wink

TitaniasCloset · 30/06/2017 10:06

Oh his little face! He is laughing too, he looks happy.

Yadnbu to demand visitation rights, plus overnight stays. Your friend is horrible and selfish if she disagrees Grin

Whatthefucknameisntalreadytake · 30/06/2017 10:14

Your friend has basically abandoned him, that makes him all yours in my book Grin

TwitterQueen1 · 30/06/2017 10:30

Yogagirl123 · 30/06/2017 10:30

What a sweetheart! No wonder you are in love, you can be Auntie, and dog sit, have him when friend has hols, or treat yourself to your own?

VeryButchyRestingFace · 30/06/2017 10:31

I used to have a GS. They the best.

Who says 🐶 don't smile??

Nicky333 · 30/06/2017 10:33

Hoppinggreen - that must be why babies are cute as well then Grin

GeorgeTheHamster · 30/06/2017 10:39

If she works could you offer to have him a day a week while she's out?

user1492692527 · 30/06/2017 10:45

I have a GSD. First 2 years of nightmare ASBO dog, hours and hours of training. However, it all pays off, he's now the most chilled, gentle soul about. The hair is another story!!
