So this is what happened on my road earlier. Turned out that the skip company had dropped it in the wrong place and did (eventually) come back to move it.

My big car couldnt fit past and an emergency vehicle wouldnt stand a chance, but a mini or other small car could just about manage.

Would anyone like to guess what happened shortly after the skip was dropped in this position?

Someone parked there!

Somebody dumped a mattress in it?

Michael Caine came along with a cavalcade of minis and manoevered around the skip. All the larger cars chasing them were stuck behind it. There was probably a milk van involved somewhere.

I mean WHY?! It must have been a hell of a struggle and it would be painfully obvious that it would be blocking the whole street off completely.

I know that the skip company were in the wrong initially, but what the fuck goes through someones head to park there?!

I should mention for the sake of completeness that the arse that did the parking is one of those people who thinks that he owns the bit of road outside his house and woe betide anyone who looks like they might be thinking about parking there.

The council and then the police were called by me a concerned neighbour who came and got all three cars moved until the skip company came back.

Any chance that the skip company moved the skip to the other side of the road on top of the twattish parked car?

I skim read your op and took in mini as minibus as thought what insanely large sized car does the OP drive. Then I reread!!

Anyway I honestly don't get dickhead parking. There's a really tight corner to come off my road and far to often some div parks on the road you need to park on right up near the corner.

It feels like I am driving a minibus at times :o

It wouldnt be quite so bad for parking up our road if the people in the new builds over the road actually used their allocated parking at the back of the development instead of parking on the road nearer to their front doors. We are not allowed to use their parking so there are 20 parking spaces with 2 cars in them usually, and absolutely no street parking. Its getting very silly.
