No matter what your politics and I am no Corbyn fan, what a bully and self centred bellend Paxman is. Let the man answer; it's not about you Paxman.

Yanbu.

Yanbu.
Corbyn is doing well.

EsmeWeatherwax · 29/05/2017 21:11

Yadnbu. Paxman is being a wanker of the highest order here.

sunnydalegottobedone · 29/05/2017 21:12

Paxman is irritating. I liked the q&a but getting bored with Paxmans refusal to let JC answer - questions are the same as from the Q&A as well - get some new material. YANBU

BillyButtfuck · 29/05/2017 21:12

Completely agree! I was going to start a thread saying exactly this!!

I am watching this to get further understanding on May and Corbyn as leaders, I'm not interested in Paxmans opinions or agenda.

Doje · 29/05/2017 21:12

YANBU. Corbyn is doing better than I would. I'd have punched him on the nose by now. or walked off crying in frustration

krazipan · 29/05/2017 21:13

I've had to turn it off. JC couldn't get a word in edge ways! I wouldn't call that an interview

20nil · 29/05/2017 21:13

Even is he is just as much of a bully with TM, it won't make it ok. It's just crap journalism.

YADNBU.

Paxman is, indeed, being a twat.

TheNewSchmoo · 29/05/2017 21:14

He's being a total prick. I'm very anti Corbyn, but I want to hear what he has to say

AndNowItIsSeven · 29/05/2017 21:14

Yanbu .

errorofjudgement · 29/05/2017 21:14

YANBU

SwiftAnchor · 29/05/2017 21:15

He is awful, terrible interviewer and came across as a total twat. I thought Corbyn handled him well.

Orlantina · 29/05/2017 21:15

I do wonder if he'll be the same to May?

FantasyAndHope · 29/05/2017 21:15

Yanbu. Watching with dd and she said the same.
How was he supposed to convince people to vote for him if he wasn't given the chance to answer and explain things.
Paxman tried to delve into his personal beliefs too.

Doobydoo · 29/05/2017 21:16

Yanbu.i thought there would be an intelligent question or 2 but instead got a petulant shouty child

PetronellaOsgood · 29/05/2017 21:17

Absolutely infuriating, what is the point of asking him a question then not letting him answer it!

Perfectplonker · 29/05/2017 21:18

I thought Corbyn handled him very well.

Jeremy's questions seemed irrelevant and repetitive, like a gnat buzzing around a calm and gentle bull.

Urm....no I don't fancy Corbin. Honest.

Well, after this interview maybe a little Grin

ExcuseMyEyebrows · 29/05/2017 21:18

Oh YANBU! I was really looking forward to this but I've had to switch off as he just won't let Corbyn answer the bloody questions.

Hefzi · 29/05/2017 21:18

Why would you think he would be different, though? He always comes across as an arrogant bully Confused

GreySloanMemorial · 29/05/2017 21:18

YANBU

ssd · 29/05/2017 21:18

JC was brilliant there, kept his cool totally and answered coherently and succinctly to Paxmans ridiculous questioning, Paxman looked like a fool.

Am sure he wont be so hard on TM, she deserves to be ripped apart but she wont be.

ComingUpTrumps · 29/05/2017 21:19

YANBU. Maybe Paxman sees what he's doing as trying to hold politicians to account, but he comes across as quite rude and disrespectful.

(For further reference, watch his interview with Michael Howard where he asks 'did you threaten to overrule him?' something like 13 times, and he later admitted that he decided to repeat the question so much in order to fill up time)

WomanWithAltitude · 29/05/2017 21:19

Yanbu. He was a total prick, it was embarrassing.
