Hi All

I've run out of perfume and am looking for a relatively 'cheap' option until my birthday when I can get something a bit nicer, budget is around £20/£25 I prefer floral/fresh types rather than anything heavy/musky

What do you wear/recommend?

Go to Lidl and buy Madame Glamour. It's a Chanel type smell. Lovely.

brexitstolemyfuture · 11/05/2017 13:14

Lidl stuff gets great reviews

ThymeLord · 11/05/2017 13:16

I like the Next perfumes. Gold is particularly nice.

Welshmaenad · 11/05/2017 13:16

Marc Jacobs Daisy. Little rollerball is under £20

bluebump · 11/05/2017 13:17

I was going to recommend the Lidl one too Grin

Other than that I wear Elizabeth Arden Sunflowers which is dirt cheap or 4711 which is under a tenner.

LilacSpatula · 11/05/2017 13:23

I'd go for Rose by Paul Smith - lovely stuff

NancyDonahue · 11/05/2017 13:24

Soap and Glory original Pink is lovely. £15 for 50ml at Boots, usually on a 3 for 2 offer too.

AnnieOH1 · 11/05/2017 13:26

Next flowers is a dupe for Marc Jacob daisy - nice and summery.

alabasterangel · 11/05/2017 13:27

I'd try that dupe perfume place which is always recommended on here. Think it's perfume parlour? Someone will confirm I hope.

The little bottles of perfume oil cost about £3 and are brilliant - I've been so pleased with mine. You can get a spray too if you prefer. Quality is excellent.

misskatamari · 11/05/2017 13:29

I wear Elizabeth Arden Sunflowers a lot. And I also like Giorgio G (the purple one). Can get both from places like home bargains and they're lovely. I'm really fussy about perfumes and a lot of more expensive ones I just don't like at all, but I've loved those two for years. My absolute favourite is a ghost summer one that was limited addition 😭 And I like Gucci rush and Versus by Versace (which is often quite affordable too actually).

ChippyTea16 · 11/05/2017 13:31

Fijian Water Lotus from the Body Shop is clean, summery and fresh!

AShowerOfBastardsTed · 11/05/2017 13:34

Yep, perfume parlour. I have several oils from them.

Hastalapasta · 11/05/2017 13:34

Always been a fan of Flowers by Kenzo.

MrsELM21 · 11/05/2017 13:35

Thanks everyone, super helpful as always!

I really like Zara perfumes, and you'd get three different sorts for that much

RockyBird · 11/05/2017 13:56

Dirty Martini

£2 primark

user1486504659 · 11/05/2017 19:21

New look do some nice ones, don't last all day but £8ish a bottle and you can get handbag sizes for a couple of pounds

SaucyJack · 11/05/2017 19:24

Have you got a local Avon person of non-specific gender?

Some of theirs are pleasant enough. Me auntie often gets me one at Christmas.

Littlechip · 11/05/2017 19:32

Fuji Green Tea by The Body Shop is gorgeous. The scent lasts ages too.

Asmoto · 11/05/2017 19:38

I've just bought M&S Aqua after it was recommended here, and it's really nice - very floral and summery, and lasts all day. I normally wear Clinique Happy but wanted an inexpensive change.

Bigglassofwineplease · 11/05/2017 19:48

Both square multi coloured bottles of Britney Spears are fresh and lovely....B&M do them! ☺

VelvetSparkles · 11/05/2017 19:49

Marks and Spencers have a fab range at a very decent price

Bigglassofwineplease · 11/05/2017 19:49

And I LOVE Polka from Primark 💝

Mrsderekshepard · 11/05/2017 19:50

The new look ones are lovely and they're all a copy of a brand one
