It's the 'little boy' persona, Bigly. He trades on it.

I think it's that he has been there almost every day since this shit show started. I've sort of got used to having him around.

I like the way his levels of raggedness have become a visual representation of the levels of chaos in the White House. You know things are crazy in there when he is hiding in hedges. He is like a barometer of Trumpness.

I'll confess that I found the 'hiding in hedges' bit almost endearing.

I think that what gets me above all is the 'uncaringness' of it. People who have themselves suffered or who have friends or loved ones who have suffered would never lie or choose words quite so glibly.

They chose this ship to sail in and when it founders, they'll go down with it. So be it.
