I think the daily show have shown the most discerning ability to carefully put all of the pieces of the puzzle together in unique and excitingly ways to reveal an incredible conclusion:
The Daily Show @TheDailyShow
It’s time for some Game Theory. Why would Donald Trump fire FBI Director James Comey? 1/9
Remember: As head of the FBI, James Comey was INVESTIGATING Donald Trump’s campaign. 2/9
There’s reason to believe Trump didn’t like being investigated by the FBI. So what did Trump do? He fired FBI Director James Comey. 3/9
Now that Comey no longer works at the FBI, it’s almost impossible for him to use FBI resources to investigate Trump. 4/9
Comey working at the FBI = able to investigate Trump. Comey fired from the FBI = NOT able to investigate Trump. 5/9
Clearly, it’s harder for Comey to investigate Trump now. That's good news for Trump because he doesn’t like being investigated. 6/9
But bad news for people who think investigating bad things is good (i.e. FBI, Comey, Democrats, law-abiding Americans, etc). 7/9
Did Trump fire Comey to stop him from investigating? REMEMBER: Pre-firing = Comey investigating. Post-firing = Comey NOT investigating. 8/9
It’s speculative BUT maybe Trump fired Comey because Comey was doing thing Trump didn’t like (investigating Trump). 9/9
