The adoption bill that Ginger is referring to is a TEXAS STATE bill, it is not before the US House of Reps. Some other states have adopted similar regulations but it's presumed they'll all end up before the Supreme Court as a violation of equal treatment under law.

Cozie they might. The bottom line of this bill is whether or not faith-based adoption agencies have the right to refuse placing a child with a couple based on their religion/sexual orientation/race.

Theoretically, a Jewish couple could be refused placement by a Christian/Muslim/Flying Spaghetti Monster-based adoption agency under this law and vice versa. In reality, I'm sure it happens all the time but it has to be 'disguised'. This type of law would just make it all nice and legal.

Re: Comey's testimony on Thursday - I've read conflicting accounts on this as to whether it will/will not go ahead, whether it will be an open or closed session or if the whole investigation will require postponing for some months until a new Special Prosecutor can be appointed.

Interesting article about the online presence of Corbin supporters. I suppose parallels can be drawn with Trump supporters online in that the groups are self-perpetuating.
