There's another tweet that says the ACA had a year of debate and several CBO costings before it passed but I also know that the republicans were upset that the bill was drawn up in secrecy in the middle of the night and rushed through. Can anyone enlighten me on what actually happened?

The "religious liberty" EO Trump just signed allows employers not to cover birth control, so another blow to healthcare.

And the contraceptive part is only the most explicit piece of it. This will still be used to justify all manner of discrimination.

Pence learned in Indiana how to craft language to make it as hard to challenge in court as possible, while doing maximum amount of damage.
