To not understand why some people drape coats/jackets/cardigans over their shoulders

I'm looking at you in particular Victoria Beckham. What's the point? Is it comfy? Surely it's easier to actually put it on rather than having two empty, rather forlorn looking sleeves left hanging and unwanted?

I do this with trousers. I tuck them into the elastic on my knickers and wear them like an arse cape.

I had fake aunties do this in the 70s, the type of aunties that got a handkerchief out then dabbed it on your face after licking the same said hanky - bleurg. So it reminds me of these same aunts with large Busts and wrinkled stockings....

I'm not sure if arse capes, fake Aunties or Batman are selling it to me. I think my bust is getting a little warm though so I may hang my bra off my nipples.

I might do it if I'm too hot for sleeves or too lazy, if I'm just aiming for hands free transport.

The jacket on shoulder look - It's called 'shoulder scaping' and its a real thaaaang you know. My stylist suggested it for this evening when I'm going out and wearing a fancy frock but a jacket doesn't quite fit the look IYSWIM.

(P.s. i don't really have a stylist, my friend happens to be one and I asked her advice ha)

I tried this once out of curiosity. My coat just kept falling off my shoulders. How do you keep it in place?

bee i'm the same as you. perhaps it only works on people who have those wide sexy shoulders that I don't have.
