To ask to see your bathroom?

I think we had one of these before but I can't flipping find it!

I'm having my bathroom done and finding it very stressful.

If anyone wants to share a pic of any recent renovations (especially tiles!) if be very grateful. It's hard to get inspiration from Pinterest/internet in general as it never looks like a real house that actual humans live in! Unless they're all bald as they never have shampoo...

Can't believe how tidy they all are ☺️ Have attached pics of the en suits & family bathrooms, guest bathroom is much tidier (no visitors!) but too warm and cosy to go downstairs and take pictures ☺️

Bathroom 2

It's a really small bathroom, excuse the small child on the floor and all the child related clutter!!

Tiles all from topps tiles, the wall one is called Marfeel I think, and floor was a wood effect tile, and granite was an off cut from a local farm which has a granite mine of some kind!

FrenchLavender · 30/04/2017 10:01

Rosy I love your tiles, are they the ones from B&Q, colour called olive?

Wedrine4me · 30/04/2017 10:15

I'm getting bathroom envy Envy

wickedfairy · 30/04/2017 10:23

Astro, live the tiles and the navy accents!!

ohhereweareagain · 30/04/2017 10:48

thanks Asmoto it's a bit on the cluttered side, as is the rest of the house but i am a dealer by trade so the house homes my favourite wares that i have soured over the years. bathroom loo etc is pretty basic as is the flooring, tiles by the bath are from Fired Earth. Farrow & Ball paint.

woodhill · 30/04/2017 11:05

Anyone managed a rain shower over bath if your bathroom has a low ceiling. Doing our main bathroom but need to have a bath. Problematical.

RosyfingeredDawn · 30/04/2017 11:11

Frenchlavender, they're not B&Q. I'm out at the moment but I think we have a spare box somewhere.

wildbhoysmama · 30/04/2017 11:16

Thanks so much, Mr T and FlaviaAlbia! It's just finished and I keep sitting on the loo just to admire it! I've lived with the v bland but okay bathroom that was here when we moved in 10 years ago! Thankfully my lovely OH is a plumber and heating engineer, so it's his graft- I just stood about pointing!
Dilapidated we nearly chose those tiles and firawla snap! You've got great taste! Loving the colour of ur wall tiles.
Woodhill, we have a rain shower with a relatively low roof. Here:

Wild. That's the shower I'm looking for - two showered heads you can switch between! Victorian!

Does it have a temp thermostat?

wildbhoysmama · 30/04/2017 11:20

Op defo real life here- toiletries for 3 boys and us!

woodhill · 30/04/2017 11:21

Thank you. Dh worried about banging his head. I want a P or L shape ideally.

woodhill · 30/04/2017 11:22

It looks lovely Wild

MrsEricBana · 30/04/2017 11:23

Astro Roper Rhodes do exactly that. I have it! Will try and link.

Asmoto · 30/04/2017 11:25

I collect antiques and vintage items, ohhereweareagain so I love that type of 'clutter'. I'm not tidy enough to be a minimalist, so I embrace the idea of filling my house with interesting things instead. I definitely want black and white floor tiling!

wildbhoysmama · 30/04/2017 11:27

Yes Astro, it does. And has a temp stop control for kids which is really great for our 5 year old. Oh says that the riser for both hand held and rain shower are completely adjustable as is the projection length. Our ceiling height is 2.4m and it works well. Bought it from Victoria Plum and oh says is super impressed with the quality, as good as Heritage in his opinion. Hope that helps.

GplanAddict · 30/04/2017 11:27

Astro, absolutely love yours!!

Astro55 · 30/04/2017 11:28

Thank you - looking at victors plumb shower bath - the one that looks stand alone but isn't! Will check out the shower

wildbhoysmama · 30/04/2017 11:29

Thanks so much Woodhill. Old houses can be hard!

wildbhoysmama · 30/04/2017 11:32

Astro that bath is lovely. The only thing we kept was out r bath as it is tin,so comfy and in great nick, otherwise I would have got that one.

GplanAddict · 30/04/2017 11:36

Very outing but I do love our almost finished bathroom!

We had a tin bath years ago and had it refinished - cost a bomb - but it was the best bath ever! Kept the heat in.

theotherendofthesockportal · 30/04/2017 11:45

Here's mine, just need to finish the grouting and seal the bath in.
