As the armada appears in waters nowhere near where it was said to be, Trump blusters on in his usual dignified, courtly manner. Easter weekend had us worried about nuclear strikes; DT put a fair bit of work into his golf swing. Business as usual! Carry on, everyone!

Just read the gorilla thing...not only does she say she finds them sexually attractive (the article does say later on that she insists she was joking), the reason she brought it up was to compare it to homosexuality. Wtf.

There was maybe two or three actual statements in there - the rest is incomprehensible waffle and it goes nowhere... it must be utterly baffling and frustrating to interview him - he says nothing and constantly repeats himself without saying anything. These are journalists at the top of their fields - they must be to have the opportunity to interview the President - and they get Scrotus.

That's because - I suspect - he's actually not very bright. He tried to disguise it will waffle and hot air.

I knew someone like that - absolute self-entitled clotted cream (rich, thick, failed desperately to rise to the top).

There were a tremendous - I mean really Bigly - number of '(illegible)' quotes in that transcript.

He's making wilder and wilder claims and 'plans' everyday, each one of them less and less 'backed' by even dubious 'facts'.

There has simply GOT to be more going on behind the scenes than we know. I understand that the intel has to be 99.99% reliable and provable and that there needs to be a direct tie. This, I think, is where we are now. I think they have strong evidence of collusion and corruption. But I don't think they have that evidence linking directly to Trump. And it won't be enough to just bring down those around him, because there are plenty of corrupt cronies waiting to be appointed in their places. No, they need to be able to bring down Trump based on irrefutable evidence of his own collusion.

The problem is that insanity does not equal stupidity. As my dad used to say 'He's dumb like a fox'. He knows the exact game he's playing and what his own 'end game' is. His goal, simply, is to leave the White House much richer than he entered it. And he doesn't care how he achieves that goal or what and who is destroyed in the process.
