To ask you to name my business?

I remembered a thread fairly recently where you successfully found a name for a business selling garden screens (I think?), so I was hoping you lovely lot could think of one for me!

I would like to start an ice cream business. I will have a mobile cart so I can set up in markets, fairs, events, weddings etc. The ice cream is inspired by Thai ice cream, and it is also known as fried ice cream or ice cream rolls. It is made by pouring cream and various other bits e.g fruit or chocolate or biscuits etc onto a frozen plate. You then chop it all up really quickly, spread it into a thin layer, then using what looks like a filler knife scoop it into rolls. If you search on you tube there are loads of videos. There are a couple of people down south doing this, but I have not yet found anyone in my part of the country.

So, that is a bit of background about what it is....can anyone think of a name?? I have considered using the word 'roll' and came up with 'stop, chop and roll' or 'let the good times roll', but they're a bit naff really!

If you want lots of disappointed children you could call it Frozen on Ice...

Delish Ice
Pure Cream

Spiral Ice or the spiral icers
Cream on Ice

I wouldn't use roll as your OP confused me and I thought it was served in a bread roll!

WaegukSaram · 28/03/2017 23:46

How about going for something from the Thai language? Obviously written in a phonetic way. (Googled these, am not a Thai speaker!)

Aroi Ice (or Ice Aroi!) (delicious)
Mak Mak Ice Cream (mak mak means "very", but it sounds cool)
cheewit cheewaa - means full of life, or energetic.

DementedO1 · 28/03/2017 23:48

Fro To Go

OlennasWimple · 28/03/2017 23:51

I'm short on inspiration right now, but I really really want to try one of these ice creams!

EastMidsMummy · 28/03/2017 23:53

Thaice doesn't work. You read it as "Thayce" out of context.

Mak Mak Ice Cream is good.

TapOut · 29/03/2017 00:09

I'm not a fan of the cute'sy play on words names. I think they are a bit naff. I'd go for something simple like Janes (or whatever your name is) Thai Style Icecream. Boring but less confusing.

EastMidsMummy · 29/03/2017 00:13

cute'sy

Worst use of an apostrophe ever.

kimann · 29/03/2017 00:23
