Cave She's not officially said anything yet, but she's hosted some business people for a dinner at her home "unofficially" to discuss government business, she's sitting in on official meetings (without an appropriate clearance level, from what I can gather) and she attended that soldier's transport with him (apparently it's usually FLOTUS that does that).

I expect her to full take over FLOTUS duties - they're stalling re his wife I'll bet.

NYC was up in arms over the cost of the FLOTUS and son living in NYC as it's costing them a fortune, so they said it's only be until school ends, but I suspect at that point they will come up with another reason they have to stay there.
