Rather than having a go at them on Twitter and describing them as second rate actresses. Hmm

Otherwise some people might just think you're a bit sensitive.

If that's how he's going to react when people call him out on things, he's going to have a very long 4 years in the White House

If I were a Rockette I would probably just forget to wear knickers. That would say it all really.

MitzyLeFrouf · 10/01/2017 14:50

Oh Mavis! Shock

Grin
MitzyLeFrouf · 10/01/2017 14:53

Good planning birdy, you’re bound to get the call in the next couple of days! Just stay firm.

birdybirdywoofwoof · 10/01/2017 14:59

I'm going to say I'm washing my big bouffy hair- he'll understand.

MsHooliesCardigan · 10/01/2017 15:00

I wonder if The Proclaimers have been asked, seeing as Donald's always going on about his Scottish heritage.

birdybirdywoofwoof · 10/01/2017 15:00

What's everyone else going to say?

birdybirdywoofwoof · 10/01/2017 15:01

The proclaimers won't walk 500 miles...etc etc

originalmavis · 10/01/2017 15:05

Oh dear. Looks like it will be someoneif talent show (possible Americas got talent or the Yeehaw agricultural county show and dog trials), Mormon Tabernacle choir (a forgiving lot I assume), a matching band and done of the Rockettes (possible sans bloomers). Possibly Sooty but I'm not sure.

But whilst everyone is reading his tweets and face palming, they're not digging into the seedy business dealings that he and his family having been doing over the years. Classic distraction technique.

And I think they told him the nuke code is 8008135.

ExplodedCloud · 10/01/2017 15:42

They should ask Peter Andre. Careful co-ordination could avoid any terrible clash of orangeyness. The Tango man and Boris could be a tribute act.

ExplodedCloud · 10/01/2017 15:43

Roman Grin

OhYouBadBadKitten · 10/01/2017 15:45

yanbu!!

FarAwayHills · 10/01/2017 16:19

Don't know why but he reminds me of the roman emperor spoof in The Life of Brain. Anyone that dares to disobey or not worship him and he cries 'stwike him centurion' and order that they be crucified.

MsHooliesCardigan · 10/01/2017 16:20

Maybe he should ask his mate Nigel to do a turn. He's getting his own radio show so he's obviously versatile. How hard can it be to bang out a couple of song and dance numbers?

MsHooliesCardigan · 10/01/2017 16:22

Does anyone know anyone in RL that thinks Trump is OK?My DPs are deeply right wing and even they are horrified at the prospect of him as President.

Hilarious that Trump should try to claim Streep isn't a good actress when she's just had a lifetime achievement award from people who know a hell of a lot more about it than him - even more hilarious that she's now been nominated for a Bafta. Who knows, perhaps she can thank Trump for that: I think if I were in a position to vote I'd probably be voting for her as a two-finger gesture to Trump.

originalmavis · 10/01/2017 17:27

One finger from me.

FarAwayHills · 10/01/2017 18:20

Would love to hear from those who actually voted for him how they feel now that reality is about to kick in.

amispartacus · 10/01/2017 18:22

Apparently Charlotte Church was asked to sing at his inaugaration Grin

www.independent.co.uk/arts-entertainment/music/news/donald-trump-presidential-inauguration-charlotte-church-when-is-it-who-will-play-a7519356.html

I don't imagine Charlotte Church is a Trump fan.

originalmavis · 10/01/2017 18:22

No. No we really don't want to hear from them. They are a blinkered lot, and rather tiresome with their hero worship of the tango'd one.

TinklyLittleLaugh · 10/01/2017 18:35

That awful thing he did mocking the disabled journalist, surely in Britain that would be categorised as a hate crime? Do they not have similar laws in the USA?

originalmavis · 10/01/2017 18:40

But that 'Did Not Happen'. Or was it 'Locker Room Banter'? I forget which Trump defense he used. Or was it 'duh, you is soooooo stooooopid'?

amispartacus · 10/01/2017 18:46

It's fascinating to hear prominent people trying to defend him - he can do no wrong in some people's eyes - yes Hopkins, I mean you.
