Rather than having a go at them on Twitter and describing them as second rate actresses. Hmm

Otherwise some people might just think you're a bit sensitive.

If that's how he's going to react when people call him out on things, he's going to have a very long 4 years in the White House

Yes the pissing stories are just a distraction. Is he Putin's lapdog is the real issue. I suspect he is.

derxa · 11/01/2017 14:56

Maybe claig is too busy helping Trump on other fora. C'mon girl we need a laugh.

RedToothBrush · 11/01/2017 14:56

Is the same as the denial that he never made offensive comments about a disabled reporter except its on camera and we've all seen it with our own eyes:

Donald J. Trump ‏*@realDonaldTrump*
Russia has never tried to use leverage over me. I HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH RUSSIA - NO DEALS, NO LOANS, NO NOTHING!

Nothing to see here. Honest. Really, I'm not on camera boasting about my relationship with Putin. It's really Alec Baldwin. Really. Oh dear I'm having hallucinations again. Apparently its contagious to anyone who clicks this link.

I think we should get used to 'fake news' before our eyes.

As for watersports? No idea if its true. Its a bit of a side show that has got people's attention and actually takes away from the more serious side of the allegations. Without it people wouldn't give a fuck.

Trump likes leaks if they are for him - hey WikiLeaks. He likes unsubstantiated claims if they further his political career - what do you mean Obama was born in the USA and had to provide documentation to prove it.

This free speech stuff not all its cracked up to be?

Meh. As if knowing he's a liar is news.

Of course there is one other explanation. He was so high on drugs he doesn't remember what he's said previously. It might explain a lot...

Expect him to go on the attack if he does show for that meeting with the media, who will ask about weeing rather than his business missing their golden opportunity. (see what I did there?)

Accuse your enemies of what you are most guilty of. Oh we already have a Godwin rebuke. Good stuff, at least we know his plan - less we forget that his attorney general in his confirmation hearing just yesterday was saying that he could not guarantee he wouldn't jail journalists.

When the caps lock comes out, you just KNOW its hit a nerve don't you? At best its a bad case of the boy who cried wolf.

9 days of democracy and liberalism left to go...

Lweji · 11/01/2017 15:06

Who wants to run bets on:

Conference going ahead or not?

How long he'll stay?

Changes topic mid-sentence?

Or run a Trump bingo/drinking game:
elites
liars/lies
wrong
nobody X than me
make up a moniker about someone else
impersonate someone else
overrated
ugly
great
people
...

'Of course there is one other explanation. He was so high on drugs he doesn't remember what he's said previously. It might explain a lot...'

It did cross my mind that they should perhaps introduce mandatory drug testing for all incoming Presidents.

Roussette · 11/01/2017 15:17

Well.... he can't expect an easy ride from the Press given how antagonistic he's been, calling them all liars etc.

He deserves to sweat a lot - I hope they grill him and it's not pre-prepared questions.

RedToothBrush · 11/01/2017 15:18

Oh hell, the press conference is in about 45mins. Its a little early to get SMASHED at 4pm on a Wednesday isn't it?

Add
Denies links to Russia again (does it by doing a double negative).
Says 'Witch Hunt'.
Fake News.
Invokes Godwin again.

Doesn't NOT say 'God Bless America' as is the tradition.

squoosh · 11/01/2017 15:19

Bigly!

squoosh · 11/01/2017 15:19

Yuge!

amispartacus · 11/01/2017 15:22

Theresa May was asked about what she thought about his comments on women last week.

I wonder if she'll be asked what she makes of these comments? It's a good thing they don't have PMQs in the USA Grin

I'm crying with laughter. Thanks Trumper, this is making the rail strikes bearable.

Was he peeing or was it just the ladies? Was he in the bed? Had anyone eaten asparagus? Were there rubber sheets provided or does he get a huge cleaning bill? Did he bigly tip the chambermaid?

Megatherium · 11/01/2017 15:28

So do we actually believe that he paid someone to piss on a bed he was sleeping in? And because Obama previously slept there some years previously?

roseshippy, that particular sexual perversion is well known, so I can't see anything inherently improbable in it - particularly for someone as sleazy as Trump.

amispartacus · 11/01/2017 15:28

Is the press conference going to be on BBC or Sky?

to think you should ignore people having a go at you if you are the President Elect of the USA
originalmavis · 11/01/2017 15:30

I see him more of a groper of models the a pee fetishist. Liquid would do terrible things to his hamster hair.

Megatherium · 11/01/2017 15:31

I'm betting on a maximum of 30 minutes for the press conference. There's no way Trump could cope with more than that without having a breakdown, unless they really have managed to inject industrial strength tranquillisers into him.

My bet is that his supporters have been paying the CIA to block his phone lines to stop the tweets. He's probably still sitting there at this moment frantically jabbing at his mobile.

Lweji · 11/01/2017 15:32

Apparently his new Attorney General was asked in his hearing if he thought that grabbing women by their genitals without consent was sexual assault.
He said yes. Grin

He wasn't asked about locker room talk, though.

Megatherium · 11/01/2017 15:33

I've asked MNHQ, they're saying nothing about she who should not be named lest she suddenly appears.

How sensible. I was wondering whether she'd been banned as she seemed to be taking a very, um, elastic approach to the interpretation of the rules on personal attacks.

Roussette · 11/01/2017 15:33

I have to say.... whether he peed or not, the fact Obama had slept there would've been enough for him to want someone (him or otherwise) to piss on the same bed. 'Cos he is juvenile, petty, thin skinned and pathetic.

Just sayin'

On a general note, I just cannot see him going 4 years, I really can't. I prophesied what will happen in a long-ish post on one of claigs threads way back. (I'd go and find it but the threads are tooooo long to bother) I think the GOP are probably wetting themselves at the beast they've unleashed. I imagine they thought he would calm down and listen to them between election and inaugauration. But he's got worse.

Apparently he's going to be 'combative' at this press conference. I have Sky on ready...

originalmavis · 11/01/2017 15:33

What happened to all the women who said that they were going to try to get him onto court over the sexual assaults?

lokisglowstickofdestiny1 · 11/01/2017 15:38

Users on 4chan are claiming they made up the pee and prostitutes story that the CIA ran with.

Lweji · 11/01/2017 15:39

That would be fake stories biting him in the arse, then. Do I feel sorry? Erm, no.

Roussette · 11/01/2017 15:41

Thing is... whatever you thought of Obama, he commanded respect, he was measured and thoughtful. Whereas Trumper is just a laughing stock, a person has to earn respect which means he's buggered.

squoosh · 11/01/2017 15:44

I’d say he’s in full on Norma Desmond mode waiting for the curtain to go up. Much shouting, much hair fluffing, much orange hued maquillage being applied.
