Some pears are lovely (e.g. conference, organic. or carefully grown , pesticide and fungicide free) when they're just ripe and washed I eat them whole. Those fatter greeny ones are not so nice IMO they're too acidic so I wouldn't eat them with their skins or without 
But no no no to Kiwi skin, it's allergy forming and pomegranate or quince skin ?????? you're having a larf aren't you?? that would be like eating concrete.
