Dd had it a week ago. Thought we'd all made it but sadly no. However glad it's me rather than one of the kids. Even though they're braver when it comes to vomming

Thinks there's a lot of us poorly people this Xmas, there's another thread in chat I think. I'm full of the most awful cold, lemsip has not touched it, constant nausea too. Trying to gear myself up to cook dinner but not in the mood at all. Hope yours is short lived

cbigs I feel your pain. I got it too through the night and kept having to rush away from the present opening. It's totally crap after planning a lovely day with the DC. Puking seems to have stopped for me but still on the loo non stop. Fridge full of all my favourite things too. Hope you feel better soon and all our DC escape it

All same here op. You are not alone... We cancelled all guests yesterday (early morning, with many apologies) so as not to share the gift that keeps on giving!

DCs opened stockings and am feeling marginally better - no vom since last night - so we're bleaching and washing everything.

Aw guys it's rubbish isn't it. My dc go to their dads tomorrow and then away to their grandparents for a few days. I'll be fine then and feeling really guilty for not being fun today . and I don't feel I should be about incase infectious but I think I will cry if I have to sit alone all day 😢don't get me wrong I'm all over that sometimes just. I'm bad today, iffy tummy all night and woke up all drained. Dh took dc to in-laws as planned and I've been alone all afternoon. Too ill to even open my presents, dc were quite sad because I couldn't get too excited with them. I feel really sad that I spoiled Christmas and I keep tearing up

I've got food poisoning so totally feel your pain. Both ends!!! I feel horrendous. The food all looks so amazing and I'm so sad!
