For feeling really fucking pissed off and devoed that I've got the sickness bug ?

That really . Christmas Day . All that work to spend it with my head down the shitter. No food , no drink, no energy ... I know there are worse off but I'm feeling fairly fucking sorry for myself right now.

My youngest has the bug. She's only managed to eat something now. Been puking for 24 hours. The best bit is we have 4 more days of waiting to see if she catches chicken pox as dads just getting over it. She has one dubious spot and very rosy cheeks.
Grrrrrrrrr.

I'm sat in bed with a bowl watching buffy whilst DH and DD are having a lovely dinner with all the family. It's becoming a Christmas tradition that I'm ill every Christmas Day

Hi ladies, I have the sickness bug too-had to run out of Midnight Mass to throw up feel horrendous. My DH has it too so we've decided to postpone dinner until tomorrow. Get well soon everyone

I feel rough - dodgy tummy and sore throat, no energy. Managed to get to church, be sociable, come home and cook for 7, ne sociable again and now I just want to die was so looking forward to today, Ive been dieting for 3 months and I've not enjoyed the food at all. To top it all, tis my birthday tomorrow, sob!

I've spent the day in bed with a bucket and a shocking headache. This morning I thought maybe I'd caught the bug that's doing the rounds but seems like it was just(!) a migraine.

The boys went to my mum's so fortunately haven't missed out. I slept a lot of the day and have had the dog and two of the cats for company.

The other cat fucked off because I wasn't being very entertaining.

Went to bed last night with the sick bowl, didn't use it thankfully but have been drained and feeling yucky all day. It's so unfair weeks of planning and thought have gone into this. Hoping tomorrow will be better.

Day 6 of cough bug, it's getting worse not better, so cold I am cuddling a hot water bottle wearing fleece pyjamas, thick fleece dressing gown and wrapped in a blanket. Should have been out for dinner, sent DH on his own.
Spent pm in bed, feeling very sorry for myself 😷😢

I've been in bed all day too 😔
Thrown up once, but feel so sick. Stomach and back ache. DP and my mum made Di net between them.
I don't know what else is going on in the house I've been hiding away all day!

I had the same happen to me. 4am it kicked in. I was vaguely on my feet again by 4pm but missed so much of DS'S special day. Gutting after spending so much time and energy on preparing for Christmas.

Hello fellow sufferers. I hurled my ring ended up at my house alone in bed for the food period . The sickness has slightly subsided now ( managed a water biscuit but may have been too soon ....)
Kids seem to have enjoyed it as much so that's the main thing I guess. Thanks for joining me though , it feels terribly lonely otherwise doesn't it!

I need to join this thread...unfortunately. Have had the flu for about 5 days. Made it to church last night and thought I was getting better but no...Thankfully my dh has stepped up and made breakfast, and dinner and looked after my parents, his parents and our dcs all day.

I have just slept on and off all day, I am ridiculous weak. I did attempt to sit at the table for dinner but couldn't face anything so lay on the couch alone and watched frozen. I know there are zillions of people worse off but I cried I was so disappointed not to be well....pathetic I know.

I'm joining in with the puking crowd. Sickness bug, on a Christmas Day, FGS!
I'm currently curled up in bed, too scared to move in case it bring another bout of vomiting...

Aww guys it's so shit . I've only had flu once and was gobsmacked by how weak I was for how long! I went to the doctor after a week and he said yep that's flu... you think you've had it until you actually have it ifyswim.
If it helps I cried several times with disappointment and not feeling well .and am also going to lie still so I don't upset the 'god of the sickifers ' I loathe vomiting. 😩
