Does anyone remember these sticker cards from the 80's?

I've been reminded of them today and I can remember a weird smell associated with them, I must have been 3 when my siblings were collecting them. Did they come with some bubble gum? But which one?

I've been looking at the cards online all day and keep having flashbacks to childhood! Those pictures were strangely mesmerising to a 3/4 year old!

This was one of the ones I remember, but there was another one with a girl in pink and I can't find her anywhere.

Ah so it was bubblegum! Was it their own brand? I can clearly remember that plastic smell of the gum on the sticker!

Yep, I still have some garbage pail kid keyrings . Sadly not the cards though!

That smell from the pink bubblegum was really distinctive, If I smelled it again, I would recognise it straight away!

The bubble gum was revolting - like germaline. I was about 8 or 9 and we all collected them. They were so naughty!!

We had to hide them at school, we technically were not allowed them... 😂😂😂.

Sure. My friend's mum was machete Tina. They were great.

They really were a big hit, a bit like Pokemon cards but better 😆.

No they didn't smell like hubba bubba sharp. They smelt like sweet plastic glue! I've never smelled anything like it since the 1980s.

I bought a pack recently in a comic book shop as I wanted show my kids what I collected when I was younger.

I'd completely forgotten they had chewing gum in them, I presume
I either chucked it or gave it to my brother as I didn't like chewing gum.

The pack I bought was an original so still had the gum in - strangely none of us wanted to eat 30 year old chewing gum!

This is another one I remember staring at for hours!

I loved these, had hundreds of cards. I think Adam Bomb was my favourite

I swear somewhere within the boundary of my home is a huge thick wodge of GP stickers. I can' even picture the clip holding them together (My friend gave it to me as a holiday souvenir)

It simply is not the sort of thing I'd have chucked. BUT WHERE THE HELL ARE THEY?!

I can smell that gum just thinking about it. The Bazooka Joe one was a bit similar.
