That were delivered?

If you paid for this advertised basket?

Wow, not quite as advertised are they! Shock

MrsTerryPratchett · 07/12/2016 05:21

Hell no!

Notthisnotthat · 07/12/2016 05:21

A lot less flowers than the advert, I would be disappointed.

goddessofsmallthings · 07/12/2016 05:30

I wouldn't be happy and I'd complain using photos to demonstrate the reason for my dissatisfaction.

WellErrr · 07/12/2016 05:38

Not at all!! Guessing they weren't cheap either?

SelfCleaningVagina · 07/12/2016 05:42

Absolutely not. It's half the size and very unprofessionally arranged. I could have done better than that myself.

SelfCleaningVagina · 07/12/2016 05:44

There must be some sort of trade body the florist is a part of in order to get passed orders generated from Interflora or wherever. I would send the photos to them and complain. As well as to the florist themselves obviously.

FlowerDilemma · 07/12/2016 05:46

They were £58

1Potato2 · 07/12/2016 05:47

Yes, complain. That's disappointing.

WhereTheFuckIsWonderWoman · 07/12/2016 05:47

Shock £58??? Not a chance I'd be accepting them.

SelfCleaningVagina · 07/12/2016 05:48

Can you count each type of flower represented stem for stem and compare to the picture? Also there looks to be some substitutions there. I know it's unavoidable sometimes but that's just cheeky. The flowers themselves look smaller and lesser quality and the foliage filler is just lazy and generic plonked in place with no attention to form.

SelfCleaningVagina · 07/12/2016 05:49

And the colour is all too samey. The more I look the worse it gets.

FlowerDilemma · 07/12/2016 05:50

I am in the UK and the recipient is overseas. So I found a local florist (with the best reviews) and ordered online. Recipient send thankyou photo.

No way! Complain!

KoalaDownUnder · 07/12/2016 07:02

Not at all.

Is the recipient in Australia, btw? I see what looks like Geraldton Wax in the advertising photo (but none in the actual delivery)!

stonecircle · 07/12/2016 07:05

I agree with all the above comments but what hit me straight away, without looking at the second picture, is that your eye is drawn first and foremost to the basket handle. It dominates the 'arrangement' (if I can use that term as I'm not sure how much arranging has gone in ...)

When you look at the second picture you can hardly see the handle.

wowfudge · 07/12/2016 07:07

It's difficult to know definitively as the actual flowers delivered have been photographed from the side of the basket, not the front. That said, the variety of flowers is missing and the arranging is not of the same standard. I bet there is a disclaimer on the website about substitutions, but I think I would complain as there appear to be fewer flowers.

BitOutOfPractice · 07/12/2016 07:21

58 of your actual English pounds? Shock

Hell no!

Mummyoflittledragon · 07/12/2016 07:21

Massive holes and the arrangement. Obviously I don't know the exchange rate or cost locally but in the U.K., they'd cost half that delivered.

Angelitron · 07/12/2016 07:35

Fuck no, they were £58!

I would have been expecting six roses for a start.

The stem number should be very similar.
Complain.

FlowerDilemma · 07/12/2016 07:45

Not Australia no. Exchange rate is £58GBP

diddl · 07/12/2016 07:55

It looks as if it could be a smaller basket.

But even so, it's not as filled as you were after.

The pic you have been sent shows a big area of just green & it's sort of flowers around the bottom & then tall in the middle, nothing really melding the two together iyswim.

MouseLove · 07/12/2016 08:37

I've paid £20 for a bunch of flowers online and they've come double the size of that!!! Wow. No. £58 I can't even fathom spending almost £60 on flowers. They look half dead!!

FlowerDilemma · 07/12/2016 08:38

Diddl. But it shouldn't be a smaller basket.

The options were $65. $75. $85
And caption is $75 arrangement pictured.

I opted for that.

Mouse love. Neither would I usually but I needed to send them urgently to a loved one overseas.
