My contribution - pointless sweetie cones. £1.50 - surely not making much profit for the seller and why would someone bother buying these on FB when you can just pick up some (more professionally packaged) Christmas chocolates/sweets in Tesco for the same price, at the same time as doing your usual shopping?!

Another one I just don't understand - Christmas hampers and Christmas Eve boxes - nice enough to receive but surely the whole point is that the giver lovingly and thoughtfully puts the hamper together with items specially chosen for the receiver? Unless it's a posh Fortnum and Mason/Harrods hamper where you get the luxury factor, what's the point in getting these things pre-made?!

I can't imagine giving my kids a Christmas Eve box loving assembled by a stranger...
