I just saw this on a FB selling page. I've no idea what it is, or why anyone would want one, but it is handmade after all!

Share your festive tat!

600+ customers in ten days for cheapy hot chocolate powder in reindeer packaging? That's believable

YoureAllABunchOfBastards · 15/11/2016 19:01

Well done if you have sold 600 of those for a quid each. Confused

ItShouldHaveBeenJingleJess · 15/11/2016 19:20

Dear bastards

Thanks for mocking my hand-made tree. As a result of my efforts, I now own a yacht and a condo in Mauritius plus so many flashy sports cars, I can't even name them,

Yours,

Jess

SammyDurrant88 · 15/11/2016 19:20

Yes I have sold 600+ they are the perfect gift teachers to pupils & I have also had a number of schools contact to purchase for Christmas fetes.

It's amazing how much time people have on their hands to even start threads like this. Also shows great support to Mums who have successful businesses.

Have a lovely Christmas all.

I'm far to busy to keep responding to pettiness.

SquirrelWatcher · 15/11/2016 19:27

Grin looks the tat we make with the Brownies! And we make this kinda thing with them cos it works out about 50p per item!

PurpleMinionMummy · 15/11/2016 19:28

Did someone read the narcissist busy people thread?

PurpleMinionMummy · 15/11/2016 19:30

They're marshmAllows btw.

DoYouRememberJustinBobby · 15/11/2016 19:36

What are marshmellows?

PurpleMinionMummy · 15/11/2016 19:40

And anyone who makes them well knows you double bag Grin

Floggingmolly · 15/11/2016 19:41

Have you been inundated with orders now that SillySongs has obligingly publicised your decapitated reindeer heads, Sammy? No?
Can't say I'm surprised...

FannyFifer · 15/11/2016 19:42
  1. Ha ha ha ha ha.
SammyDurrant88 · 15/11/2016 19:52

Do you lot not have anything better to do? What boring lives you all lead. As I said what a shame sad desperate people aren't able to support working mothers in business.

Will be closing my mumsnet account, I didn't realise it was full of toxic waste.

Willow2016 · 15/11/2016 19:54

I wonder if people are actually costing these things before they charge for them? (Well some obviously charging way too much!)

As part of the PTA fundraising Xmas fair about 4 years ago I made dozens of those 'snowman soup' cones and to pay for the ingredients, celophane cones and ribbons and add a tiny margin of profit we had to charge £1.50! I dont see how they are making a profit on £1 now.

gunting · 15/11/2016 19:55

Wow so people actually buy this stuff Confused

Floggingmolly · 15/11/2016 19:56

Yet you're right here in the thick of it... (despite the general public's insatiable appetite for Reindeer heads. Do you have a team of elves working for you?)

ItShouldHaveBeenJingleJess · 15/11/2016 19:57

I'm more inclined to support (and protect) mothers at risk of being ripped off by charlatans....

But that's just me.

Willow2016 · 15/11/2016 20:00

gunting:

No not so much Grin Grin Grin

LMAO all that bloody work (had choc powder bloody everywhere!) for sod all back!

FannyFifer · 15/11/2016 20:03

What boring lives you all lead.

Says the woman who claims to have filled 600 cones of plastic with chocolate powder.

raspberrysuicide · 15/11/2016 20:30

Are you declaring it to the tax man?

AnnetteKertan · 15/11/2016 20:34

Fuck Tipsy10 must be on the same fb group as me and beat me to it! I give you this though as she forgot, only £23

(ps I'm off to make reindeer hot chocolate since it's so profitable)

DontTouchTheMoustache · 15/11/2016 20:40

willow I was wondering about the profitability of the £1 reindeer hot chocolate things as well. Surely it can't be worth your time? (Especially to make 600)

LunaLoveg00d · 15/11/2016 20:55

Christmas bauble storage box. Only £13. Doesn't include baubles.

At what point do those handling and selling food items need food hygiene certificates and the like?
