Well I told him no more ham unless he put it back propley

He gets ham out the dosent wrap it back up with cling film and then when I go to get some ham it's shriveld and is dry ffs

I even had yesterday the cling film placed on top of the name but not wrapped driving me nuts he's bad with other things to one day he will kill me via food poisoning

YANBU. In fact LTB.

Mymouthgetsmeintrouble · 22/10/2016 21:22

Either LTB or transfer to a lunchbox

AppleJac · 22/10/2016 21:23

Well my dh does worse than that.

I buy ham to put on sandwiches and he eats a whole packet of it without putting it on a sandwich for a snack! So when i come to use the ham i bought 2 days ago to put on a sandwich, he has scoffed 2 packs of it!!

PeachBellini123 · 22/10/2016 21:23

My DH does this. It makes it dry out horriblly

Nurszilla · 22/10/2016 21:25

This is abuse. LTB.

Thefishewife · 22/10/2016 21:28

So not just me then I mean how fucking hard is it to wrap the fucking ham I literally haven't had any ham since 2009 eveytime I go to the fridge it's schrivled and dry

Buy 2 packets. Write your name with marker on yours.

Noofly · 22/10/2016 21:30

If LTB is too much hassle, buy your own ham and hide it in the packaging of something your husband hates.

clearsommespace · 22/10/2016 21:33

I don't really like cling film. It's so fiddly. We have a special very flat Tupperware for the ham. It makes it easy for everyone to put it away properly.

FlyingElbows · 22/10/2016 21:33

Put the ham in a box. Problem solved.

NotAPuffin · 22/10/2016 21:34

bread
ham
bread

Fruitboxjury · 22/10/2016 21:37

Sandwich bag, wrap up ham, roll top over, put Bach in fridge. And sliced cheese, just as bad.

Otherwise no choice but to LTB

Fruitboxjury · 22/10/2016 21:37

back, not JS!

Twofurrycats · 22/10/2016 21:38

Was it nice ham though?

Thefishewife · 22/10/2016 21:38

I would but the cheese is in a box and ask me if he ever puts the lid back on 😕😬

OP posts:
Thefishewife · 22/10/2016 21:39

No cheap ham £1 for how ever many slices wafer thin

Put it in a box. You can hardly "ban" him from eating food in his own house.

Scentofwater · 22/10/2016 21:39

My dh does this with cheese. Words have been had over dried out cheddar. Dried out cheddar does not work in a toastie.

When hormonal I have also been known to cry over open packets of raw chicken with vegetables lying in it.

LTB

00100001 · 22/10/2016 21:41

Have a secret supply of your own ham a and let him eat the shrivelled dry sort.

PickAChew · 22/10/2016 21:41

Any sensible person would lose their shit over the raw chicken thing, Scent!

tellyjots · 22/10/2016 21:43

Agree. You need a secret ham stash.

SlottedSpoon · 22/10/2016 21:46

This drives me nuts too. My DH and all my kids do it and it's so wasteful and lazy. It's not just ham, they do it with everything. Biscuits opened then left in an unsealed pack to go soggy, beans opened and the half full tin shoved in the fridge with the metal lid plonked on top, you name it. I drives me freaking NUTS.

Biffsboys · 22/10/2016 21:46

This gives me the rage 😡 My teenage ds does it too ! I am the ham saviour in this house !
