Period poo is not my favourite, I have to say.

I thought it was just me! Why does no one tell you about this stuff! They should put it on a card in the box of tampons!

Progesterone levels are high during the second half of the menstrual cycle (from ovulation to the start of your next period). Progesterone acts like a muscle relaxant and makes the bowel sluggish.

It's the dropping of progesterone levels that triggers the bleed, and it also causes the bowel to start moving again. Hence period poo.

I only realised that wasn't that uncommon when I read about it on here a year or so back!

I always have diarrhoea when I get my period. However today's poo horror was due to the beetroot I had for dinner last night. I caught a glimpse of the red bloodbath while I flushed and thought I must have shat out my guts.

Hangover poo = mushy, scared to fart for about six hours afterwards.

I agree OP! I also hate just before period poo. Horrible cramps.

I get weird poo cramps everytime I'm in TK Maxx, and drive home quickly to poop it out. I swear they have something in their air conditioning.

So no big struggle to get it out, but there i am once a month wiping blood and shit all mixed up just loving womanhood

Why are you heavier during your period when you are pooing so much and losing blood??

Another of my least favourite is pasta poo urge can come on (suddenly)anytime after eating a big bowl of pasta I once stupidly decided on a 5 km walk around block after pasta halfway round I got the urge had to ring Dh to get me I was walking and clenching and sweating that was tough Dh reckons I should've gone in a field
