To think the Americans have a cheek

After watching the debate last night am I wrong in thinking the Americans have a cheek laughing at us for the Boris appointment when they are about to appoint president trump

I couldn't believe the things that came out not renting to balck people 🙁🙁🙁🙁 I think Boris looks positively satesmen like compared to a guy with a ducking cat on his head

And there are still people saying he nailed it 😳

Well Boris is an American citizen. Perhaps they are related!

They have a cheek about a lot of things, some of them are still chippy about having been a colony.

They've also been paying my mortgage for the last 20 years off and on and despite stereotypes have mostly been much nicer employers than the UK outfits I've worked for - they are also (in the vast majority of cases) some of the most welcoming, friendly and genuine people I have ever had the pleasure of working with.

I resolutely refuse to believe that they're all like that. They can't be. They're not. They have sensible people. Who they are clearly currently, for some reason known best to themselves, keeping in a box out the back! Ok some of them are a bit "unique" but... Oh Jesus we're all fucked if that arsehole wins. I really can't imagine any American woman voting for Trump IF he said what he's accused of, there's something about him that slightly scares me, I just think he's slightly dangerous but can't explain why. That said, there are probably millions of American men who won't vote for him either (and sadly men might not gote for Hilary because she's female).

Our country is no better letting the Tories kill off the poor sick and disabled and actively encouraging hate crime and racism.

I've just read s really interesting Michael Moore article about how Trump will win as although people hate Trump, the just don't like or trust Hilary enough to vote for her and will choose 'non runners' or spoil vote/not attend. The race is so tight it requires people to swallow their pride and vote for Hilary. It's genuinely scary - globally.

Living in Italy and having both British and American friends laughing at me about Berlusconi I take a wierd, almost sadistic pleasure, in now being able to talk about Trump and Boris.

And to be honest. As a left winger feminist I'd actually prefer Trump to that sad excuse of a warmongerer who has laundered millions of dollars and frauded the DC votes Kilary............sad times for democracy and those, few remaining politicans who actually got into politics to make the world a better place.

I think the term "the Americans" is generalising just a little bit.

I really don't know a great deal about it - terribly ignorant I admit.
I just see (amongst other things) the xenophobia and racial hatred that Brexit dragged out of many seemingly innocuous people, and dread to think what a Trump administration would do to the U.S

It's difficult because I agree with many of the arguements against clinton. None of which would make me vote for Trump, but I don't think I could vote for Clinton either.. I'ld probably not vote if I was in the US right now, they're stuck between two awful choices
