AIBU when is half term across England?

i know it varies but i've tried googling and can't find the "window" that it's in......I think it's a 2 wk window?

I have to travel from the north east to cornwall by train with a buggy-resisting 11 month old and could do without the extra passengers that half terms bring!!

Last week of October in my school

We are off Mon 24th -Fri 28th Oct.

22nd October to 4 November here.

We finish on 28th October and return on 7th November.

Friday 14th until Tuesday 1st. Just over two weeks here

Mon 24th - Fri 28th here.

4 weeks time

13th-24th here (Leicestershire)

It's always been the last week in October here.

Last full week in October here, so school starts back on the 31st.

24 to 28 October here (Yorkshire)

Last week of Oct here (Essex).

Dd had an inset day before hers so slightly longer

My nieces are in Essex and have two weeks at October

24 - 28 Oct for me, but colleague's son has 2 weeks 17 - 28.

So looks like you need to avoid 17 Oct through to 7 Nov judging by responses so far!

A very easy way to check this is to check prices at center parcs!

Anyway it's 24/10 here.... Back on 31st

In Cornwall and ours is week commencing 24th oct.

Same as most of the rest of the country - the last full week of October.

We finish on the 28th back the 7th Nov
