AIBU when is half term across England?

i know it varies but i've tried googling and can't find the "window" that it's in......I think it's a 2 wk window?

I have to travel from the north east to cornwall by train with a buggy-resisting 11 month old and could do without the extra passengers that half terms bring!!

24th to 28th October. Back in on the 31st which seems silly to me but never mind. We are Trafford based.
