To not know if I'm falling for mattress hype Eve vs Simba vs Leesa

We need a new mattress (we are both not sleeping well, back ache etc) and I have kinda fallen for the advertising for the Eve mattress.
We need a 160cm wide mattress (curse Ikea bed frames, but I can't find another frame I like as much as our current one) which mean out choice of 'mattress in a box with 100 day free trial' is either Eve, Leesa or Simba.

They all tell you they are the most comfortable and have memo techno foamy stuff and are like nothing else but essentially seem pretty similar.

Can anyone recommend one of them? Or should I stop looking at £600 ones that are really just cheap mattresses with expensive marketing and invest in a hypnos or dunlopillo? have I just fallen for their marketing?

I think the sleep deprivation is making the decision even harder! I know that over 10 years the cost per nights sleep isn't much but it seems a big investment at the moment......

For replacing our occasionally used guest room bed we bought one of the silentnight foam mattresses off Amazon and not only it was very cheap in comparison to the options you’re considering- but also guests have said specifically how comfortable it is! So much so that when DD was due a big girl bed we got her one for her new bed. It is super comfortable and we are thrilled with them. We are looking to potentially replace ours very soon and I do think we will get one of these. We currently have a 10 year old tempur pedicure one which is comfortable but it cost a LoT if money and it now has a ridge between where we both sleep which is annoying. I would wholeheartedly recommend the silentnight ones, seriously!!! 5* reviews, no one can believe how awesome they are for the price!!

Am so hopelessly confused with choice-but the Eve currently has 25% off which is swinging my thoughts a little!
But now there is also the Emma or the Casper or the Hyde and sleep! Aaaargh!🙃

Love our Simba mattresses - well worth the money. Just the right balance between firm and comfy.

Another vote for the Simba. Had ours over a year now and I’ve never slept so well. I have two slipped discs and it’s the only mattress I’ve been able to sleep on for more than a couple of hours.

I’ve got a Hypnia memory foam mattress which is amazing and a fraction of the cost of Simba and Eve. You can buy Simba, Eve (and Hypnia) refurbished from eBay direct from the manufacturers for half the cost of new if you are not too fussed about their sleep guarantee.

I got a Casper i got a code and they had a mayday discount so it was about £450 and the the customer service was epic (the contracted delivery men didn’t remove packing and left dirt marks on my carpet they sounded more upset/outraged than I was and they refunded me another £50 or so to get the carpet dry cleaned Grin oh, and the bed is fab

I'm wondering if I'm falling for the hype, they are all the same price and all seem very similar. It seems a lot of money, av £600 for a king size, for a foam mattress.

The silent night post intrigues me though, I wonder which model it was?

I had a Casper but sent it back.
I now have Eve on both beds.

Debenhams stock Eve as does Dreams I think so you can try them there.

Keep an eye on the Eve website. I got 25% off mine.

Mine is a Hobbs. It is the most comfortable one I have ever slept on. It is a traditional type which means it needs turning which may not suit you but doesn't contain sweaty memory foam. Everywhere I looked were foam covered, foam topped, wrong sizes until I found a family owned company where I could try them out without anyone hovering over me and salesmen popping up at every bed which drove me out of the (useless) shops.

I spent a whole afternoon trying mattresses in Vic Smith, even took a lunch break and then went back to decide. Also bought new frame but mine is a 4ft bed which is not as easy to find as other sizes. From experience an independent shop is the best place for a mattress.
