To want to LTB over skid marks?

Dh has issues using the toilet, or more so cleaning in! Every day, skid marks are left down the toilet. There's a loo brush right next to it, and bleach, but he never ever cleans it and I'm fed up of cleaning his skid marks every flipping day. He says it doesn't bother him but it bothers me. I hate walking into our bathroom which I've just cleaned to ins shit stains all down the toilet.

WIBU to LTB over this?

Tell him if he wants to shit like an animal he can go and shit in the garden.

rainbowglitterunicorn · 25/08/2016 10:35

navyandwhite sometimes he's great, kind, caring and great fun to be with. Other times he's a lazy entitled man-child.

borpborpborp I will tell him that

Make him clean it.

My DH used to do this. Every time I found it, I'd make him go in there and clean it. He still does it occasionally - men are gross.

It's worse when the builders have been and I go in and find their skids all down the toilet. Dirty buggers!

Mind you, I just read a story of a Scottish bride who's new husband sat on her knee in a kilt... and left a skidmark on her wedding dress Shock

Make him clean it. Buy him a toilet brush, bleach and some of those antibacterial wipes, wrap them up beautifully and make a BIG DEAL about giving him a gift you know he'll love. And when he unwraps them shout "I will insert the loo brush into you if you don't fucking clean up after yourself from now on, you dirty bastard".

Not much gets me cross but this would. My 10 year old knows better than to leave go-faster stripes in the loo. If a 10 year old fool can clear it, anyone can.

squoosh · 25/08/2016 10:50

Yuck, where's his self respect? I wouldn't want to have sex with someone who left shitty skidmarks on the toilet. Tell him their will be no marital relations until he develops toilet skills beyond those of a three year old.

celeste83 · 25/08/2016 11:07

Impose a sex ban until he starts cleaning up after himself the dirty begger.

liz70 · 25/08/2016 11:26

"Mind you, I just read a story of a Scottish bride who's new husband sat on her knee in a kilt... and left a skidmark on her wedding dress"

As an aside, that story you just read is bullshit (pun intended). Complete fabrication.

acasualobserver · 25/08/2016 11:35

I think the Scottish skid mark story may be true.

liz70 · 25/08/2016 11:40

Nope, it's a Daily Sportism. No such building as the Greenock Reformed Temperance Hall, and never has been - that's part of the joke. Frankie Boyle has used the story in his act.

Not every story on the internet is true, not even especially not one carried by the HuffPo.

My middle name isn't "Killjoy" for nothing. Grin

squoosh · 25/08/2016 11:49

I bet kilts do get manky though. Some kilt rental places urge that wearers keep their pants on when wearing them. Envy

DerelictMyBalls · 25/08/2016 11:55

YANBU. It's not just the dirty habit, it's more the attitude. He seems to think you should clean up his shit for him. Very disrespectful.

usernoidea · 25/08/2016 12:01

Tell him to do it or else

kittyjewel · 25/08/2016 12:02

I have similar problems. I work away a lot for a few days at a time & when I get home I come back to hardened shit on the bowl from him. From not bothering his arse to clean it straight after he has been to the toilet. So it hardens over days. (Sorry girls hope ur not eating lol). This is because I am not there to monitor the toilet every time he has been. I feel like I have to watch over his actions like a bloody baby. He doesn't see the issue, but it annoys me because I am a tad OCD with cleaning. He also doesn't lift the lid when he wees, so sometimes I sit on the toilet & back of my legs get wet! This fuckin enrages me. I have told him so many times. I now have to wipe the seat every time I need to sit on it. We've had full blown arguments over it but he still doesn't adhere to my instructions. Been together 3 years this Xmas. What do I do girls?!

liz70 · 25/08/2016 12:04

LTB (to kitty).

kittyjewel · 25/08/2016 12:06

He also wonders why I don't want to have sex with him often anymore. N it's because I don't want to because his habits are really getting me down. I don't want to have sex with a pig.

kittyjewel · 25/08/2016 12:08

Sorry I'm new to these abbreviations. What does LTB mean?

squoosh · 25/08/2016 12:09

kitty that's so vile. I agree with Derelict that there's an attitude of 'woman, clean up my piss and shit'. Really, really disrespectful. What would his reaction be if you left menstrual blood all over the toilet?

squoosh · 25/08/2016 12:09

LTB = leave the bastard

Oldraver · 25/08/2016 12:10

I have had a sort of long running battle over skiddies as my two don't bother as they dont care. It took some hissy fits and pointing out that no adult should have to clean the shit of another able bodied, not ill person. I do think its disrespectful for an adult to think they are above cleaning their shit but its ok for someone else to do it maybe I'm overthinking that

We are getting there, thank God we have seperate toilets

liz70 · 25/08/2016 12:10

Take photos, hack into his FB account and post them on his wall.

MyPeriodFeatures · 25/08/2016 12:10

I would be mortified if anyone had to clean my poo marks from the toilet!

If I were you, I'd do that thing where you stretch a piece of cling film over the toilet .... Or serve him dinner on a plate that hadn't been washed, or stop cleaning up after him completely
