This is a blatent not AIBU. Apologies.

I brought it home and thought it might "come back to life".

It hasn't Confused

She asked as soon as she got back where it was - she's quite attached to it.

ARGH please identify it so I can replace it?!

SoleBizzz · 15/07/2016 20:40

It's so dead I haven't a clue what it is. I mean was.

SoleBizzz · 15/07/2016 20:43

Take it a garden centre

Cutecat78 · 15/07/2016 20:45

And ask for one the same - but not dead? Confused

Flouncy · 15/07/2016 20:47

Thats not dead. Its just in need of a holiday of its own.

Fresh topup of compost, light trim, warm sunny but not too bright windowcill, time!

I buy all the unloved 10p plants at Homebase/ B&Q and nurture them.

NeedMoreSleepOrSugar · 15/07/2016 20:47

It's very dead! I think it might have been a nerve plant though? nerve plant

NeedMoreSleepOrSugar · 15/07/2016 20:48

Pendu · 15/07/2016 20:49

Cutecat78 · 15/07/2016 20:52

Could it have been one of these? www.waitrosegarden.com/plants/_/tradescantia-green-hill/classid.2000027706/

Flouncy · 15/07/2016 20:59

I think it looks like a nerve plant too. There are many strains. Try google images polka dot plant for a same family variety.

SeveredPixieBits · 15/07/2016 21:01

It's not dead, it's pining for the fjords.
