This thread is so perfectly timed. I was disinvited by DH's friend to his BBQ today ('there arent going to be any other girls there...'). So DH has sacked me off and gone anyway, leaving me alone on a Saturday night with no notice to plan anything myself. He hasn't been in touch. I have no idea when (or even if) he will be back. I am so angry at the selfishness.

Most of the time he is wonderful, but right now he is a dick.

Ever since baby born I'm constantly nagging him to do this do that
I have to ask him to hold the baby when I need to get on with jobs
Silly little things like after on this he STILL doesn't realise he needs to be quiet when baby's in bed!

Yes!! I wanted to start this very thread today. DH has no concept whatsoever of time. We have 2 DCs and at the weekends, I feel like I'm trying to get THREE kids out the door. He also told me today (when our day out didn't work) that he feels I should be responsible for sorting out weekend plans (hmmmm. along with planning and cooking all meals, childcare,washing, drying, folding etc etc).

He's been really stressed at work, which I do get, but today I did just think-dick.

Currently he is getting the icy cold shoulder because I scrubbed the bathroom sparkly clean and asked him to just not flush the toilet for a bit.

It's not even the fact that he flushed the toilet a few minutes later, it's his attitude to -literally- pissing all over my completely reasonable request that has me trying to remember where the spare duvet is for the sofa.

I probably sound massively overreactingly unreasonable but tbh it's the straw that's broken the disrespect-camels back.

I often think DP an obsessive cunt. I do max approx 30 min housework a day, IMO that cleans the house. On top of that DP does another 60 mins cleaning a day. I don't want to live in a museum but if they want to do that its there bag.

What I hate is that I get accused of doing hardly any house work.

I am very overweight. I am doing brilliantly on my recently-started diet and starting to incorporate more exercise.

DH has still turned into the Food Police in the last week and gets cross if he thinks I am breaking the diet despite me telling him my hatred of this because my mother (ISSUES!) does it and it makes me feel angry and worthless. Which makes me want to EAT.

He's just done it tonight. I think he thinks that if he isn't hungry, I shouldn't be either. Although I had only had 2 meals today and was on the go non-stop, and neither was the sneaky McDonalds-fest that he creeps off to do every Saturday. So we are in separate rooms and I am fed up with him.

And yes, he's very slim.
