Anyone elses DC at school this week?

Had full Easter weekend but then back at school for four days. Anyone else in this position?

Yep. It's weird and a bit of a pain but should be nice when the others are back and we're off :)

2 in primary are off but DD at secondary and breaks up Friday ......

My DD went back today after the 4 day weekend and isn't off now until April 8th for two weeks

My dc are in school for only three days this week.

Us too. It's very odd. Hols start next Mon.

The Medway schools ( Kent) are in school this week whereas the rest of Kent is off ,it has not gone down well as many people have some DC at Medway schools and other DC at Kent schools .

Mine aren't but Leeds area is apparently.

My friend is really happy as half term is June rather than may and she got a really cheap holiday too.

Yes ,we're in Scotland. We had Good Friday off, back this week then off for two weeks.

My kids were at school GF and EM. They finish this week for "spring break"

Yup finish on Friday here in Merseyside! Some of the high schools have finished though

Yep us too( Liverpool) was a bit of a pain in the arse , as we where away all weekend and kids where back in school for 4 days the off.

Yup, in the borders. Were off good friday, back in yest and finish up friday.

DS1 at secondary broke up on Thursday and isn't back til the 18th.

DS2 at nursery is back for the 4 days then off for 2 weeks.

Well technically my youngest is on a 2 week school break BUT because he's in GCSE year, they have sessions for them to attend ( not all day) during that time!
I think it's unfair to put pressure on them to go, unless they REALLY need the help. They've just had a second batch of mocks, and they have compulsorily after school lessons they have to attend. It's too much. He's getting A in everything as it is and the argument is " Well you could get A* all round ,if you come"!!!
To me that means if he "only " gets A's that's going to be such a disappointment, when in reality it's blood amazing!!!

Dd at high school finishes Friday and ds and dd at primary not till next Wednesday!!

We had Friday-Monday off, back today... finish Friday like everyone else. Except the local high school teachers have planned strike action on Weds & Thurs so my oldest was off yest for hols, in today, off tomorrow & thursday and in on Friday

My dc broke up last thursday for 2 weeks. No school this week or next.

DS2 is off but DS1, who is at college, finishes Friday. Round here most schools are finishing Friday. DS2's primary always seems to pick the most awkward times though, they often vary the Christmas holiday by anything up to a week compared to other schools. I guess once there are more academies this will be more common.

Ds1 is in secondary and at school today until Friday then off for 2 weeks ds2 dd1 and ds3 who are in primary are on Easter holiday. The week they go back I will still have ds1 off for a week. It's been like this a few times. Wish they all had the same times off as it can get confusing about who is supposed to be where. But it has reminded me need to ring nursery as dd2 was off last week so not sure when she is on holiday as she only goes term time.

I have one in for just tomorrow to catch up on a subject. He's not happy.
