Is that allShock

AdrenalineFudge · 25/02/2016 19:00

I've never seen it even just once. It seems so much of a cult thing and something I'd be interested in watching but I wouldn't know where to start.

hippoinamudhole · 25/02/2016 19:02

Start with a new hope then work your way through in the order they were made. They are brilliant.

mrbananabeak · 25/02/2016 19:02

The music and visual effects are stunning

YANBU. :) I love seeing films many times especially at the cinema. You are absorbed.

I saw Everest three times (once in 3D).

Thefitfatty · 25/02/2016 19:06

Episode 4 or the force awakens? Episode 4 absolutely not. Must have seen it 20 times myself. Force awakens, good job! Only managed twice myself

mrbananabeak · 25/02/2016 19:09

Kylo Ren omg!!!

Thefitfatty · 25/02/2016 19:10

Lurve Kylo Ren

mrbananabeak · 25/02/2016 19:15

Got a month unlimited card so going again next week to see those fabulous tantrums ;-)

I am vvv jealous. Have only seen it once... Christmas Eve with a large glass of wine and a big bag of minstrels. I love Curzon Cinemas.

LetThereBeCupcakes · 25/02/2016 19:21

I've never seen it either. One day I will but I'm still fretting over order at the moment. A colleague recommends machete order bit not sure I can cope with excluding a whole film...

Donge13 · 25/02/2016 19:21

Yanbu you need to go several more timesGrin

TrionicLettuce · 25/02/2016 19:26

I lost count how many times DH and went, I think it was either 10 or 11 Blush

We're hopefully going again next week to catch in 3D on a local Imax screen Grin

mrbananabeak · 25/02/2016 19:43

has to be seen in 3D to appreciate the opening scene and the flight battles

OP posts:
hippoinamudhole · 25/02/2016 20:13

I thought you were talking about episode 4. Not a bad effort for the force awakens

mrbananabeak · 25/02/2016 20:44

went to see it first when it was released in December before ds was allowed to see it as rated a 12. Then took ds a couple of times, once with a friend and a couple of times on my own. Kylo Ren has a dark attraction

MuddlingMackem · 25/02/2016 20:49

YABVU - because I've only managed to see Ep VII three times at the cinema, so am rather jealous. Envy Really looking forward to the Blu-Ray release in May. :)

As for New Hope, probably seen it over 100 times. Grin

SelfRaisingFlour · 25/02/2016 20:54

If you like Kylo Ren, you'll like this from Saturday Night Live ...

I think Kylo Ren is a bit of a big baby with his ridiculous rages.

mrbananabeak · 25/02/2016 20:57

DS not allowed to watch revenge of the Sith, that one is a bit grim

OP posts:
mrbananabeak · 25/02/2016 21:14

Matt the radar tech :D
Also very enamoured of Darth Maul !

OP posts:
MilleniumTalcum · 25/02/2016 21:21

selfraisingflour Grin that whole SNL show was brilliant.

I love matt the radar tech. I'm secretly hoping they actually delayed episode 8 because he's now in it Wink

I've seen TFA 4 times now but am going again tomorrow.

Had never watched Star Wars until 6 months ago. What was life before? How can you become so obsessed so fast? Grin

MilleniumTalcum · 25/02/2016 21:25

I felt like they got the balance of tone right. A throwback to the sequels but updated. Some old. Some new etc. Better acting too but part of the appeal of the originals is the ott acting imo. Han's reaction when he finds out a certain duo are related Shock

mrbananabeak · 25/02/2016 21:36

Love the name MillenniumTalcum :) and why did I not notice Oscar before. Wow !!!

OP posts:
MilleniumTalcum · 25/02/2016 21:36

I'd love to see more stuff like this. Really beautifully done.

MilleniumTalcum · 25/02/2016 21:38

Thanks Smile

I didn't know much about who was playing Kylo but that reveal scene...

I'd be lying if I said I didn't go a bit funny over young Han and go rewatch TFA to see Mr L'Oréal Ren.
