This is true of our nearby playground. There are a few Eastern European mothers who let their boys take a p* on the playground. Yesterday one boy 5 or 6 years dropped his pants for everyone to see and pi*ed on the playground without turning around or at least going to the farthest corner.

It is acceptable in Eastern European culture and is big problem in places like lincoln. it was also a factor in the arrest or fighting of some tv celebrity who tried to stop someone from doing it.

Children being toilet trained are a different matter, but it always seems to be the Mothers of boys that think it's OK. When my girls were toddlers, I can remember taking them to the side of a building and everyone that passed, said it was disgusting "for a girl".

So if he turned around or went to the farthest corner, you would have been ok with him pissing on the playground?

If there are cultural difficulties, then, they need to be addressed.

However, the men I've seen pissing where they want, have all been UK bred and if you look at the amount of fines (£40) being issued for this, this isn't generally a cultural difference widespread problem.

The only issue my local school had was spitting in the playground, by parents from a different culture (not EE).

The HT put a letter out and a sign in the playground, which stopped the behaviour almost immediately.

Parents around here (british-born, naice middle class) let their kids wee and poo next to the playground at the base of the tree that all the kids like to climb . Vile, and nothing to do with race.

The only time I saw a boy pee in the playground it was the local farmer's son, used to going when he was in the fields. He only did it once, though, once the rules had been explained to him.

Never seen any of our many EE neighbours' kids urinate on a playground. I would ask either the child or the parent (depending on the age of the child) to stop should I ever witness such a thing, independent of their heritage (same for the British mc children defecating).

I have never seen any child urinate in a playground. The park is a different matter and all of our local parks have a wee bush which the children pop into/ behind. I can't imagine a primary school age child being comfortable urinating where others can see them.

I would be complaining to the council if I saw this at a public playground and encouraging them to put up pictorial signage to let people know, whatever their native language, that its not acceptable behaviour.

For a school playground I would immediately summon a teacher or ask to speak to the head.
