to think all pets poo?

They do don't they?

My kids are desperate for a pet. Me, not so much. I've said they can have one that doesn't poo. I'm safe now, aren't I?

Unless they ask for a robot dinosaur, yes, I suppose so.

DaggerEyes · 19/11/2015 14:48

Birds don't poo. It's called something else, cos it's wee and poo at once.....I think. Could they use that as a loophole?

KittyVonCatsworth · 19/11/2015 14:49

Stick insects...I imagine they poo

Nataleejah · 19/11/2015 14:49

Now they make robot pets that pee and poo

flanjabelle · 19/11/2015 14:51

Owls make pellets don't they? Not actually poo?

KittyVonCatsworth · 19/11/2015 14:51

and now we know...!

My mother had a red rump tarantula and that didnt poo as it spits out the parts of the crickets it doesn't eat. Hmmmm maybe not then lol

I can recommend pet tarantulas, I have three Smile

Tarantulas use practically all of what they eat (mine like crickets, hate locusts). What they don't eat is turned into a tiny little white gooey blob, no bigger than a grain of rice and completely odourless.

If they happen to eject it onto the glass wall of their tank, it looks a bit like a tiny bird-poo, else the liquid evaporates and you're just left with a tiny white speck. Tarantulas only need their tanks cleaned out once per year.

They are the ultimate low-maintenance pets!

Of all the suggestions I thought I'd get, and therefore seriously consider, I never thought there'd be bloody spiders! I would rather run poo on my eyebrows that LOOK at a spider!!!!

Stick insects poo. And they're an insect so that's out.

What's that picture? A gnu?

Sorry op this is so funny...you got spider suggestions and a two headed lama. Doesnt a cute genie pig or hamster look good now even if it does poo. Grin

diddl · 19/11/2015 15:27

It's a push me pull me, isn't it??

BanningTheWordNaice · 19/11/2015 15:28

Whatever you do don't get a guinea pig. They are so fecking pointless curses own childhood.

HoneyDragon · 19/11/2015 15:28

One of your DC will get a pet tape worm now just to make a point.

CatThiefKeith · 19/11/2015 15:31

Grin at tapeworm!

londonrach · 19/11/2015 15:33

if the op was planning on using this thread for proof I'm in the shit aren't I?

HoneyDragon · 19/11/2015 15:40

What about a Mayfly? They don't have mouths so surely can't poop. They only live a month a most so turnover would be high.

Perhaps there's a subscription service, mayflies monthly or something?

diddl · 19/11/2015 15:43

Ah yes, push me pull you-I was nearly right!

CatThiefKeith · 19/11/2015 15:44

Or a pet rock? I'm fairly sure they don't either.

Poor kids, get em a pet. Something low maintenance like a hamster?

Wagglebees · 19/11/2015 15:46

I thought everyone knew what a Push-me-Pull-you was!

MantaRayBay · 19/11/2015 15:48

A genie pig? Does it grant wishes? Surely you'd put up with a bit of poo if you got free wishes. You could wish the poo away for starters.

Seeyounearertime · 19/11/2015 15:56

Snakes.
They poop but not very much and it kind of dries and turns powdery, like dust I guess.
Or ferrets. Yes they poop but you can train them to do it in a Small corner tray that you simply empty.

Or a pet Furby? They just poo batteries.

Or, if your the 8 year old me, chickens, they poo eggs for tea. Smile

fakenamefornow · 19/11/2015 16:21

Choose your pet carefully, get two of them and they'll.... hmm...clean up after each other.
